Launchbury for me. It was the forwards taking it to them that gave us this game and Launchbury running, gathering, tackling and getting stuck in at the breakdown was at the forefront.

Bit of respect only with that try. England way to good on the day. Platform was set in the first half and finished in that 10 minute blitz after the ABs sparked into a bit of form.
Cant take this away from England. Too good.
Trouble is and what usually happens, is England will go back to fumbling in he 6N and the ABs will start at win 1 again and go from there.
It always happens. Teams rise against us, then cant work out how to carry it into subsequent matches.

Wow what a result and what a performance,2 contrasting halves of rugby but England dominated for about 65-70 minutes of that match and completely deserved this.

Well done England. Losing this one doesn't feel as bad as previous England wins against us.
Reason is cos they're a young side, they've a true 'wear the heart on his sleeve' coach in Lancaster and they won in style.
Every now and then the ABs get a friendly reminder theyre not beatable and this is it.
What Lancaster needs to do is bottle whatever England had last 3 weeks and bring it out 6N time.
NZ will lick their wounds and start again. Thankfully we are starting to lose the 'right' matches these days.
Also, a damned good match- or at least second half.
Enjoy your victory England...very well deserved!

Well after a fantastic first half, I feared England would tire and the All Blacks would come back strong. That looked to be true when it became 15-14, but England hit back so strongly. 3 tries against the All Blacks in 10 minutes. England's greatest rugby union win for 9 years!

Nice one Taylorman. You're bang on re teams failing to consistently compete...but once a decade makes it that much sweeter! The Olympics spoiled us, once a decade is just fine against your lot I think
Also, you're too decent to say it, but I can't believe old Noro didn't have at least a small impact.

Sweet. Good match too wasnt it. Plenty to watch again. Dont mind losing like that. When a team takes it to you. If theyd won doing the same as the first half- just kicks, it would have been so so.
But for me theres something about getting tries. NZ gained immediate momentum with the two they scored thne England powered away again. That shows bottle and why this win will be highly respected here. They won it 'our way' so to speak.

Well I said we'd win 25-21 on the first page. I didn't really believe that though. Right then here goes - England are gonna get the wooden spoon in the Six Nations, lose 3-1 in the Test Series against India and not even qualify for the Football World Cup. That do?

Doubt you'll hear about the virus again from the team. As McCaw said earlier better for it to happen Tuesday rather than Friday which is kind of what happened in 95. Theyd lose all credibility if the bring out the virus excuse. Maybe in McCaws 5th book after hes retired but not now- at least thats what Id expect.

Be interesting to see what people say about tuilagi.
Interesting also is tom youngs. Does Hartley come straight back in? Youngs was top class.
Launchbury will.be there for the next ten years...Cole was class as usual....and barritt was exceptional.
Brown was top class...
Ashton concerned me though...his position is up for grabs on current form.
Oh and as a big Farrell critic who appreciates what he could be...he was very good today....

Re: The Original - England v All Blacks - KO 14:30 Sat 1st DEC at HQ - Match Thread/Build Up etc....
Corbs got the better of Franks, another pretty good scalp for him after last week (if the ref says you're legal, then you are )
Youngs threw much better today, England may have lost two line-outs but only one was his fault (overthrowing, the other was a good read by NZ). More importantly England usually got great ball from the line-out. He also carried brilliantly, fine performance.
Cole was excellent as usual, dominant in the scrum and a huge nuisance at ruck time.
Launchbury looks a fantastic player, carried on from an excellent debut last week with another fine performance all around the park (carries, breakdown and line-out).
Parling also built on last week(s performance with a really solid outing, ran the line-out well and put himself about in the loose.
Wood was excellent, a nuisance at the breakdown, linked well with the backs and a very good line-out option.
Robshaw answered his critics. People forgot just how well he played last week in the aftermarth of "kick-at-goal-gate", but he was excellent once more today.
Morgan seems much fitter these days, some excellent carries.
Youngs threw some poor passes but generally marshalled the play pretty well. One lovely scything break.
Farrell impressed me. His place kicking was excellent as usual (bar one poor missed conversion) but his general play was much better, he seemed to time his passes very well, and it was his pass which put Baritt into space for England's first score.
Barritt had his best game for England: marshalled the defence pretty well but much more active with ball in hand, and a deserved try.
Tuilagi was simply magnificent, typified by his bulldozing run for England's second try.
Brown had a fine game in attack with some lovely runs, though struggled to handle Cory Jane at times in defense. Won an unlikely turnover at one point.
Ashton showed once again the uncanny knack for running the right support lines, but aside from that was probably England's least impressive player.
Goode was less in evidence than last week, but nonetheless a very assured display at the back, and a couple of lovely runs. Harsh on Foden, but I think he's made himself undroppable right now.

What an amazing match !!! As all our players and coaches were saying this is just another step in a long journey to 2015 and we still have a way to go but i will still enjoy this day for a while.
It seemed every player getting critisism stepped up to the mark today ! Farrell played better than dan flipping carter, kicking his goals and distributing the ball well, barrit actually made attacking breaks and had a good passing game (I think his break was partially due because conrad smith never expected bradley to run it and marked manu instead!!) Manu was on fire with cheeky offloads and a devastating running game, Tom youngs looked international quality and our captain fantastic was omni-present !!
