Wales scorecard?
Following on from a very good thread by Taylor I thought I'd compare the Welsh performance, so if NZ get a B+ I have to give Wales an A - Absent!!!
Starting with a half fit team of reputation against Argentina (Rees, Warburton, Jenkins, Phillips, RP, Roberts all had no right playing that game) it was a very typical performance from a pack who weren't fit or ready for int rugby getting bullied out of sight. Wales set peice went wrong, scrum and lineout demolished, and the breakdown was awash of Argentinians. Howley (or whoever actually picked the team has to take a huge amount of blame for selection) we didn't make a single line break and didn't enter Argentina's 22, this was possibly the worst performance from a professional outfit I have seen for ages (not including wales regional games, I did say professional outfit)
Moving onto samoa, 8 changes and in form players finally given their shot (even though it was planned ye right) except it wasn't a fair shot as 8 changes to any team creates disruption, and when playing the South sea islanders you have to be battle hardened and ready for the physical stuff, except the 8 changes were not, hadn't played rugby for 3 weeks in most cases and were given an identical lesson to the game of the week previous, lineout and scrum beaten up, breakdown an oppositions wet dream and every Samoan out muscling his opposition number.
Game 3 the all blacks... More selection issues as the half fit half ready reputationers returned (mostly except the injured number to be added) not helped by a cheap shot on 1 of only 2 locks left in the squad, oh and RP missing touch, targets and his mummy. Wales totally outplayed and once again outmuscled at the breakdown. For the first time however Wales had scored a try, yet not through their own making but from mistakes from NZ and kick to touch resulting in that lineout. RE the lineout, trick play and mentality of them, I think is humiliating as a prof rugby organization. Knowing you are so sub standard to a team you have to resort to all or nothing plays in the first few minutes in an attempt to shock and gain an upper hand??? I personally hate it but can understand why others would like it.
Then we move on to Aus, a team so depleted, so demoralised and so dejected they were all but on the plane home, missing kicks to touch regularly, missing kicks at goal, playing heads down style rugby and they clearly just wanted this tour to end, yet Wales were able to sink to such lows as to not only give them a sniff but allow them to outplay and beat us. The lineouts in this game were nothing short of humiliating, I understand differing jumpers, lifters and throwers were used but even an U14's team couldve done much better! And before you ask yes I am bored of using the word humiliating!!
Aus forward gave everything first 20 and looked out on their feet from there, the Aus defence was half hearted and allowed a number of first phase line breaks, yet Wales still didn't have the foresight or ability to put 1 man on the shoulder of a linebreaker, not even by luck!! When wales managed these breaks it turned into a schoolboy follow the ball scenario where no team managed to look any good once again I was left... humiliated!!
So I have decided that our best performance was in Poland, it went down hill from there on in!!!

Re: Wales scorecard?
I have just received word that the chrogenic chamber had to be removed from a building that Wales were training at, it kept winning ball in the lineout and breakdown!!
