Its a pool stage match, not a Final.

Christ Munkian, that'll cause trouble. Only certain people are allowed to use that word, apparently.

Is it the biggest club clash in the world? Probably not, but it feels like it to me this week...

Like most of the things I say, it's a quote from the Simpsons. I think it's ironic to call Leinster Ladyboys, is all.

Re: Well is it?
Actually in truth I think Ulster v Saints is getting more publicity............. it's certainly getting more chat here!
Ulster are the only side that remains unbeaten in all competitions, that's a pretty neat trick. So I think it's the big game this weekend for many HEC neutral observers.
Leinster, if people only admit to it, are expected to do a few fancy twists and turns, a few lightening Isa strikes --- and then lose...maybe even be whooped. They are way below the form they've showed for the last few seasons. And even when in that form, they often struggled to hard fought victories against the best sides.
But if Leinster DO beat Clermont at home, given the season they've been having so far, then I don't know about the wisdom of even placing Clermont (a side as yet to win one HEC) in the same sentence as Leinster!!!!

Re: Well is it?
Some big games this weekend
Clermont V Leinster 3rd V 3rd in domestic Leagues
Munster V Saracens 4th v 2nd
Saints V Ulster 3rd v 1st
So of the big games this week end you could say the biggest one is Saints Ulster and they are to two highest placed teams facing each other.
Leinster V Clermot is the one aginst what in many people opinions, the two best teams in Europe
Munster V Saracens, prob rates below the other two games, but is still Munster are a big name Irish team V a big name English team

Munster V Saracens 4th v 2nd
Saints V Ulster 3rd v 1st

You mean does it get by on a lot less wage-packet than Clermont? Yes, it does

Smirnoff,
In terms of this seasons HEC I think the phrase which comes to mind is,
"Two bald men fighting over a comb!"

And I say that as one whose beloved Ulster was all too often the loser in that very battle in the recent past.

I think it's one of the biggest games in the Heino pool stages - always is a very exciting encounter for neutrals as well.
