Anyway, Liverpool's Jonjo Shelvey chant is nothing more than a poor rip-off attempt of Man City's Yaya and Kolo Toure song. I might as well sing the same song for Crawley Town's Nicky Adams.

Real story:

I had Falcao in season 1 but he wasn't rated anywhere as near as much as he is now, I got a £38m lawyers offer for him so I sold him to sign Badstuber at CB (where I was light) and Lisandro Lopez.

Yeah I have.

Will Hughes will be playing in the Premier League soon, I guarantee it. I think he'll move to a Norwich, Sunderland, Villa type team. He's a fantastic passer of the ball and creative. I have had an eye on him for a while. Only thing I'm worried about is he goes the same way as Miles Addison, who I thought would be a big deal and has failed to live up to his huge potential. Mason Bennett I'm not sure about. He's got potential, sure but I don't think he's quite ready to be judged.

He looks a real talent, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to a big team like Nick Powell did

I don't see him going straight up, I think he'll use a smaller team as a stepping stone. I didn't mean Norwich specifically just meant that sort of sized team.

Oay, here's my weekend review:

1. Arsenal vs West Brom
Arsenal were tidy in possession, worthy of the win, but the referee decided the game with three incorrect decisions:

- Cazorla's awful dive for the first penalty
- Blatant handball by Mertesacker, given as a free kick to Arsenal
- The second penalty was the correct decision, but Chamberlain had fouled Popov just before that

2. City vs United
United deserved victory, but it was more down to Mancini's dreadful tactics / team selection. He really needs to be sacked if City want to repeat as Champions.

3. Manny Pacquiao
Took the mother of all punches and was unconscious for ages. Youtube it, what a punch.

I'm one of Cazorla's biggest fans but it wasn't just the dive that irked, it was the play acting that went with it.

Does anyone else think Carrick was exceptional. I thought him and Cleverley were fairly average again, and so were the Man City centre mids.

United got the deserved win, I agree and RVP is proving an exceptional signing - most important player in the league atm.

And that punch that Pacquiao took was unbelievable, especially as he was coming onto it as well. Most people's heads would have been taken off by the one he took in the 3rd round as well

Carrick was alright enough. Did his job on the ball.

I feel for Mario Balotelli. He didn't play well but he gets no chances to see out a full 90 minutes any more. Reckon he should move on soonish.

Carrick was okay, I don't think I've ever seen him play 'exceptional' Headscratch

Toure is shockingly bad this year, which wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't being remunerated to the tune of £200,000 per week. Even Viva with his dodgy knee would have contributed more to City's season than Toure.

Pacquiao did well to get to R6, I think all that's gone on the last 3/4 years has ruined his ability. He'd not get one punch on Mayweather now.

Morning

Azzy you never give United any credit, if Youngs goal was given it would have been game over. United had a plan and it worked they didn't allow the City team to play like they want to.

Disgraceful by the City fans, Rio could have easily lost an eye there no place for that in Football.

None of the CMs stood out for me on either side.

You're right on Yaya Azzy. The difference in him from last year to this is unbelievable. He looks a liability this season, when he carried them at times last year.

And in fairness to Pacman, if Mayweather had taken that punch, he'd have been beaten too. However, Mayweather would never have got caught by that punch.

Agree completely and SAF is bang on with his comments. Although, it is not just City that the finger can be pointed at, I reckon every ground has those idiots. There are certainly Everton supporters at Goodison I have seen who I would believe are idiotic enough to do something.

Highlights of the Pacman knockout.

You lot are way too harsh on Yaya Toure. He scored a good goal and made some good runs from his own half. But if your playing next to the likes of Barry then there's no hope in hell for you.

Toure set the bar very high for himself and he will struggle to match that.

Where is Rodwell, is he injured again?

Don't think Mancini will be at City all year at this rate. He seems so negative at the moment and it's not happening for them.

Probably looking at Mayweather vs Marquez now, or Pacquiao vs Marquez V.

I don't think there is much point to a Pac/Mayweather fight any more. I never believed Pacquiao had enough to beat Mayweather and I'm pretty sure that's the case now.

United fans are equally as bad when they pelted Bellamy a few years ago with bottles, can't blame one team for it everyone does it. Won't be long till a player is killed or seriously injured.

I agree with Sodhat no point for a Pacman and Mayweather fight it's pointless and Mayweather would be a bitch to fight Pacman now.

It would probably harm Mayweather's own legacy to take it now! He'd look like a huge bitch. But at least he can lean on the fact he beat Marquez cleanly. I'd like to see them fight again though.

I dominated the hockey field like Nobby Stiles on Saturday. I just ran about a lot and made tackles in midfield, when I actually got the ball I was a mong...

I've put Afro and Gregers' tactics up for their respective matches. They don't have opponents this week but when voting please still give feedback on their gameplans so it's not wasting their time to write tactics.

Guys, I'm going to run a series of polls on the football board to declare the v2 World team of the year so I need your help in creating it if that's okay.

Basically I'll run a poll for each position and require 10 nominations for each position (15 for centrebacks) in a 4-2-3-1 formation (with a DM and deep lying playmaker being used).

So to start off can I have ten Goalkeepers that should be included?
