They do have Alton Towers though, that's pretty good

Alton Towers is almost as near Macclesfield as it is Brum, which I guess is what gives it it's silky shine

I luckily can go through the countryside of Leek and Ashbourne to get to Alton Towers.

We knew you were coming that day, so we pulled out all the stops to make sure you didn't come back.

I don't want to look like I'm painting London as some epicenter of class and culture though. It has humoungous flaws in a fairly large proportion of it.

The good stuff is great though. I've never personally been threatened with a knife or even violence so far either, but I tend to stick to the nice bits.

Afro I was only 4 year sold at the time (1992) how could you have known that I was coming to Crappy Western Superbore. Fact is its a trampy little place and nobody cares about it and the only attraction you have is the beach and now that people fly abroad to much better beaches they won't be looking at Western Supermare.

Zidane is hard, he once beat up eight 6'5+ Rugby players by himself in a club and because he beat them up so bad they had to close the club for two nights to get the blood out and clean it up. Well thats what Nick_Fury told me but he also told me he was going to sign for Arsenal when he was younger (Next bergkamp) but he rejected them because he wanted to become a pretend manager.

It is a trampy place. It has more drug rehab clinics than anywhere in the UK. Half of the day, the sea is miles out and you have to walk through mud to get to it. it does have the pier and is has had millions spent on it in the last few years, but is still carries limited appeal.

I would never make a day visit there, let along a holiday, yet half of Birmingham still does

Lovely place generally, but all of Blackpool and surrounding areas holiday there. In some places it's like an episode of Benidorm, but in Cornwall.

It's funny that a lot of people's worse things are the same as others best things.

Thats the problem with everyone outside West Midlands. You confuse us with our poor trampy neighbours, Dudley, West Brom, Wolves etc. No its them lot that come down to your city, I never would.

How can we tell the difference between accents? Serious question, it all sounds like a big blur of "alroiiiiight" to me.

You always get a ton of Villa and Blues shirts in the summer. And Leicester as well.

Liverpool was pretty scummy when I was there (90-91). Wolverhampton has always been scummy, and parts of London are seriously dodgy (how many times do you have to get accosted in Brixton by heroin dealers I ask you!)

I work in the City, close to Fleet Street. I live out in the east, strictly speaking just outside of London and in Essex, but we shan't mention that again.

I used to work in Greenwich on occasion in my old job, all part of 'Developing London'. Spent a lot of time around Beckton across the river and the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich too. And more than enough time in Dagenham...
