First topic message reminder :

Anyone hear about this? I heard that his A sample from the Wlad fight was reported to have tested positive for PEDs and they are awaiting the result of the B sample. Seems to be up on the internet but not sure if anything has been confirmed.

Protein and vitamins are not man made. A lot of steroid do occur naturally in the body. The problem arises when you multiply those levels 10 fold.

Protein is natural in foods like chicken etc however making a protein shake and selling it at 40 quid a tub or protein a bar is man made.

You dont need to know someone personally to know of their reputation. Klitschko has a very bad reputation. There is plenty stuff from other boxers and threads on here which indicate he ties other boxers down to extortionate slave like contracts in return for fighting for the title which is completely unfair. He is involved in politics in a known politically corrupt country. Look up what Frank Maloney comments on him about his trainer. Then more controversy in this fight. On the one hand an opponent with no history of using steroids or cheating and then on the other Klitschko, a fighter with a terrible reputation. I would prefer to know the full details before I make my mind up and I am not so biased towards Klitschko that I wont look at thing from all angles. It beggars belief on here how someone like Lennx Lewis can get so much disrespect but a fighter like Klitschko is so overrated and worshipped by people. It makes me think alot of people didnt start watching boxing on here until a few years ago.

You're insulting a LOT of people there, numpty. Lennox Lewis doesn't get "disrespect", its difficult to find people on here (bar a few) that rank lewis outside a heavyweight ATG top 10. Personally I have him #4 as I've told you. Klitschko over rated? Sorry, but having 62 fights at the age of 36 and being a unified champion for nearly 7 years now doesn't make a man over rated. If anything, he's criminally under rated on here. Where were you 7 years ago Gordy? You certainly weren't watching boxing. You came here and admitted yourself;

Natural supplements such as protein bars and vitamin tablets are just dietry supplements.
Steriods are synthetic hormones.

Put it this way, take a pro bodybuilder and remove away the natural supplements he uses. It won't make much (if any) difference to his size and strength.

However, take away his drugs and he'll shrink into mediocrity.

Can I just say that Gordy's comments are tarnishing the site's reputation. It is one thing to have a view on a boxer's ability or legacy etc but it is another to accuse a boxer of planting drugs in another boxer's food or that a boxer planted a faulty glove or to suggest that a boxer was happy that his trainer/friend of 10 years passed away.

If someone viewed this forum for the first time and saw posters making comments like that what would they think?

Also from a legal point of view making those types of accusations could get the site into trouble (unlikely but is possible).
