Was messing about on Youtube and spotted this gem. Then realised the animator was a fellow 606er! Check it out and enjoy!

Top effort
I love lego, thought having kids would allow me to start playing with it again. Sadly my offspring are clearly defective as they have no interest in it...
Out of interest, how long did it take to put together?

Cheers for all the lovely comments guys
In terms of time taken, started shooting after the 2nd weekend of the AI's and it was all going fairly well, averaging a couple of seconds per hour. Until England threw a colossal spanner in the works! Was a very long weekend that one

http://www.scotsman.com/news/scottish-news/top-stories/scot-creates-lego-rugby-video-for-autumn-tests-1-2693127
A Scots teenager who became a worldwide hit with his Lego-animated videos has been signed up by the sponsors of the Scotland rugby team.
Graham Love, 19, has been commissioned by sports kit giants Canterbury to produce animated reels from this year’s rugby autumn internationals.
His previous creations of X Factor and Match of the Day have clocked up hundreds of thousands of hits on YoutTube.
The company, which also sponsors England and South Africa, made the lucrative deal earlier this year before the games, but Graham has been sworn to secrecy until now.
Speaking from his home in Aberdeen, Graham said: “They got in touch with me during the first week of November and it was a real thrill for myself to be picked up by them.
“They were really easy to work with and we sorted everything out within just one day.
“They sponsor the England, Scotland and South Africa rugby teams, so they just wanted me to animate the highlights of their autumn internationals.”
Sports fan Graham, who has had 1,037,814 video views on his YouTube channel, said it was hard work making the films and admitted the most difficult part was watching Scotland being beaten during the tournament.
He added: “I watched all three of Scotland’s games and it was miserable watching them all.
“I had to make a clip of Tonga beating Scotland when the coach Andy Robinson resigned afterwards.
“But doing the video highlights for the England vs New Zealand game was the worst.
“It was a real pain, especially as it all happened in the final week of the matches, so I had to film it very quickly as the video had to be ready for the next week.
“I’m getting used to covering England’s successes now though. I’ve done things like Jonny Wilkinson’s drop goal in the World Cup final too, so this wasn’t too bad I suppose.”
Graham’s work was picked up by numerous rugby international players who heaped praise on the youngster.
He said: “I’ve had lots of players tweeting me saying they liked the video, especially the England player Brad Barritt,
whose first international try I animated.
“Immortalising the players in Lego was quite cool and I would definitely work with Canterbury again.”
If it is you seriously.... what an amazing talent you have bud

Please can you start work on the 2013 England GS video ?
There will be quite a few England tries and you will need to start the prep work now.

Surely you don't work for Nike ? We all know they were carp at forecasting.
Canterbury will have the result down much more precisely, which is why they picked up the shirt deal this season.

Well done - GLOve. I saw the article and did wonder if it was you.
Out of interest, who inspired who? I am sure that some of our back "moves" were done at the same sort of speed as you managed to get going in the vid.
Good work, fella

Yes Alastair,
But no upsets come the 6N, as England have now shown their hand.
Glove can set up that Lego board for loadsa England tries.
Just have to wait for the Moore / Barnes / Jiffy commentaries to provide the voiceovers, film done by Monday.

Well with Scott Johnson set to be in charge think it'd be wise to set up for the barrel full of tries that England will run past us come the 2nd of Febuary. The rest thought I'm not so sure about

Glove
thanks.
PS just realised you are a Scots supporter, I should not have been so cheeky / cocky with my 6N comments, sorry.
Good work on that last Lego effort btw.
Good luck to Scotland, it being the land of my ancestors.
Hope Johnson does some good.
best regards
Gregor

Haha, no worries, after a result like that against the All Blacks I'd be 10 times worse! Plus given other nations form I'd say you have every right to be confident.

Great work Graham!

Thats poor, he was clearly on the line, it's just a shame that the ref didn't correctly call it double movement like he should
