I think because the league is 'closed' from today, bar results, so not all managers will be online. I don't really care but I think it's only fair. Plus it means your target will still be there in the New Year Smile

It's not shutting up shop for the Christmas period, it's just not having any fixtures or lawyers. Other business etc can still go ahead if people wish.

I don't think that's very fair Hero, some of us won't be online over the Christmas period, but those of us who are can get an advantage?

Not that anyone will be wanting Fan's TP targets (we don't watch the Peruvian second division), but for example, Zebs has been left behind this month in TPs due to him being off.

I don't see why there can't be TPs still

With no lawyers and less people around it will be near impossible to raise the cash, but why cut them altogether?

Because it's an advantage that benefits some but not others? Christmas is the one time of year I won't be online, but I could come back on the 28th and find several of my targets snaffled by you lot coming on here with your lack of lives / hours spent watching Eurosport.

Joey O'Brien is definately the best at checking his run, turning 270 degrees anti clockwise and playing it across to his CBs

Schafer is not a bad shout. Has had a decentish 12 months, certainly better than Evra.

I still can't be having Schmelzer on the list though.

I know, it's just my opinion to be fair and no harm in putting him on the list.

I think Evra has looked better in the last few games, but don't think he has been great this calendar year

If Evra played 10 games, they broke down as follows:

1 Good
4 Average
3 Below expected standard
2 Bad

So just under average for me. I think it's his attitude that gets my goat though, I really cannot stand the guy. So much so that when the Suarez thing came out, I thought he'd made the whole thing up Laugh

I like Schmelzer. Perhaps not the best defensively but he's a demon going forward and has a great cross.

Evra's looking good again but you can't have him on the list because he's been abysmal for so long.

Marcelo yes, Coentrao no. Lahm has to be there too Laugh

Cole was the best LB in Europe up to July, the CL final was the greatest LB performance ever, and he's been solid since then. Evra has been rubbish for almost 18 months now Laugh

Cole had a very good CL final that's the reason why people are raving about him, he was poor at the Euros and has been below or average for the same time as Evra.

Cole blows Baines all day not the other LB mentioned on thAt list. Last night I was reading the old 606 league and Fan said that Varnae and Zanka both will be playing in the premier league next season, he made that comment back in May 2011. Fan what went wrong?

Azzy if you're being serious then yes I will xxx.

No. Fancy dress always gives me bleeding nipples, which I will not suffer under any circumstances. They take ages to crust over and heal.

He was good at the Euros, are you insane? Not oustanding, but 7/10 every game. You are a biased United lover to be comparing Evra to anyone, never mind Cole. The only LB worse than Evra in 2012 was Andre Santos Laugh

Cole's struggled with Hazard ahead of him, it means he can't get forward like he used to and doesn't get the help a LB would normally get. Evra's just showing age and a bit of wear and tear.

When you put lists together you always think there'll be loads of players, but so far RB and LB have had barely anyone worthy of winning their position. Just goes to show how few truly world class players there are out there.
