We could always fire the manager with the worst win/loss record this season?

Tooze, 5 games, 5 defeats.
GSC, 5 games, 4 defeats and 1 draw (which I remember was only a draw against me, he won but didn't vote so lost a goal Laugh )

McLeish must like the midlands - just cant get rid of him lol

Nar in all honesty I think he'll do a decent/good job - one thing is for certain they will keep more than 2 clean sheets in the 2nd half of the season.
And if he can get a player like Marlon King or "Paul Montgomery" recommended player - like he did to West Ham about Drogba - but they wouldn't fork out the £3.5mil to bag him - and he ended up at Marseille for about the same and we know the next 10 years quite well.

McLeish has that.

So glad that 'experience' is in getting decent teams to play terrible football Laugh

Oh of course we have a chance and you never know, but we generally struggle against the little skillful Tevez/Aguero types which they have in abundance. We can handle one, but not 3/4!

Olly - what do you think of the Rumours of Butland and/or C.Davies going to carrow road - Butland 8mil (also southampton and liverpool - reportedly intrested); C.Davies - 4 to 5mil depends on where you read up.

Would either of them players be welcomed or you think its a step backwards

He'll spoon them. Then Turner will come in and demolish.

On a more serious note Tettey vs Yaya in the midfield is gonna be a heck of a battle

Butland - Absolutely no way we are going to go for him. Even if we did we don't have the money, and he would choose another club over us as we are pretty set at the GK position anyways (Ruddy, Bunn, Rudd and Steer)
Davies - Was linked heavily in the summer and I thought he was a shoe in to come but never come to fruition. Don't think he would be a bad signing, but can't see him splitting up the Turner/Bassong partnership. If we get him in I would expect Barnett to leave and I don't think we would pay £4-5 million for him

Personally I don't believe any of them.
The only players I can see leaving us are Chris Burke, Marlon King and maybe Redmond if we are truely skint.
But thats what happens in a relegation dogfight

Butland won't go Liverpool - if he wants to Improve he needs to go somewhere where in a year or so he will be playing regularly and I don't think he will go for less than £10mil.
Redmond is more likely to leave IMO - as he has stopped playing week in week out.
But tbh we should sell both - if we could get £15-£20mil for the 2 then sell away. we can't keep them in we go into administration.

On Hughton - good manager - unlucky to lose his job at Newcastle. Did very well with us in the League - considering he didn't get the funds he would have liked - and was very unlucky that we didn't get through to the knock-out rounds and earn an extra few £mil etc.
And if it wasn't for C.Doyle - making a few mistakes + abit of bad luck and West Ham being a very good side. We could have got promoted - and IMO i was expecting mid-table with the likes of Foster, Dann, Johnson, Bowyer, Ferguson, Jerome, McFadden, Ridgewell(half-way through)
and all the others we had to let go etc - we had next to no 1st team squad and he did very well and IMO is a much better manager than Lambert - although lambert does unearth a few gems.
Hope he relegated the Vile though.
