Re: Jeremy Guscott
Bit harsh, he got every other result correct.
Not exactly a fan of the bloke, but he's been asked to make predictions and a home win for Saints was hardly inconceivable. Many others probably went for the same, no matter what you lot thought!

For Quins in particular, though, he is a fairly reliable anti-barometer of how things will go. If he calls an opposition win, we quite often prove him wrong.

He just doesn't like Quins. I'll never forget the 6N's a few seasons back when he called Strettle (then at Quins) an average player playing for a less then average club.

He was apparently a bit of a helmet in his playing days albeit a skillful one (going on the old autobiography references). He does seem to hold grudges, he despises Tigers as an old Bath player, he's nearly as bad as Barnes in that respect.

He was half right then at least, but he definitely can't judge a club. Its a running joke among Glaws fans that on the rare occasion he predicts a win we normally end up losing. But at least he puts himself out there every week with his predictions, giving us the opportunity to ridicule him every week too

I'd like to see that theory proven.

Exceptional player but really don't like him as a pundit - his articles are pompous and lack insight, I swear he doesn't watch any Club rugby and even as an Englishman he (and Inverdale) makes me cringe at International time

Well shifty everyone to there own but Jiffy and JG are possibly the two worst sports pundits ever to get on to tv. In my opinion.

Still a complete nob ! Would love to see him paired up as a pundit with Scott Hastings - no love lost between those two.
