Connacht too good for O'Sullivan?
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet guys, just posting in case it hasn't. Its a surprise to me. I'd have thought EOS would be a decent coach for them.
Some fairly big names kicking around though.

Re: Connacht too good for O'Sullivan?
I though EoS would have brought a lot to the position.
Not sure why he didn't get an interview, if it was that Connacht and the IRFU already knew what he would bring, and decided that he wasn't the man for the job, then fine no point wasting his time or thiers. If it was because there was a bit of him having burnt bridges leaving the IRFU they it was wrong. I though with his experience he would have merited an interview, to show what he's learned and done in years since leaving IRFU and how this could help.
Mind you I think I prefer the Idea of someone fresh coming in. Someone who isn't looking to move up within IRFU (like Bradley was), and hence isn't afraid at upsetting a few people to get what is best for Connacht.
Ok so it would mean no Irish head coaches at any Province, but if an outside Coach is good enough for Leinster,Ulster and Munster its good enough for Connacht.
I think that Connacht could become even more appealing if the rules for H-cup qualification did include places for league position, as currently to qualify in there own right is the hardest job out of any H-cup team, new rules could actually make it easier for them, making them more appealing.
