Harold Pinter was a Nobel-Prize winning English playwright, dramatist and actor. One of the most influential of British dramatists, his career spanned over half a century. He died four years ago today on Christmas Eve.

Despite many accomplishments, I remember him best for his delicious quotation below:
''I tend to think that cricket is the greatest thing that God ever created on earth - certainly greater than sex, although sex isn't too bad either''.

Wishing all a merry Christmas and that in 2013 we continue to enjoy the greatest thing that God ever created on earth.
