Good Deal at the Ospreys 3 games for £35
http://www.ospreysrugby.com/news/5941.php#.UN7N747iZ38
See three crunch games at the start of 2013 for just £35
The Ospreys have launched a fantastic value three-game ticket bundle to encourage fans to support the cause in big numbers over the coming weeks.
It's an exciting period for the region, with crunch games in both the Heineken Cup and the RaboDirect PRO12 at the Liberty Stadium at the start of 2013, with Zebre making their first ever visit to Ospreylia on Friday 4th January (KO 7.05pm), Leicester Tigers the opponents on Sunday 13th January (KO 3.00pm) and Edinburgh in town on Friday 22nd February (KO 8.10pm).
Thanks to this great new offer, supporters can buy a ticket for all three games at the incredible price of just £35 - that's less than the cost of two individual match tickets, with a saving of £25 on tickets bought separately.
Speaking about the offer, which is available right up until kick-off of the first match against Zebre, Ospreys' Chief Operations Officer Andrew Hore, said it was intended to both reward regular supporters and encourage new fans to visit the Liberty Stadium.
"£35 for three quality, first class rugby matches, including an absolutely massive game against Leicester Tigers in the Heineken Cup, is an incredible deal" said Hore.
"We realise that the start of the year can be an expensive time for everyone so we wanted to do something that supporters new and old would appreciate, that allows them to come along and support the cause at all three of these games early in the New Year instead of maybe having to make a choice over what matches they watch.
"It's a crucial time for the team who need wins in all three matches, against Leicester to stay in European competition this season and against Zebre and Edinburgh to try and secure that all important top four place. If we can get big, passionate Ospreylian crowds at these games, blacking out the Liberty, it will give the players a massive boost for what really are must win matches."
The three match ticket bundle is available to buy now from the Liberty Stadium Ticket Office, online at www.ospreysrugby.com/buytickets or via the Ticket Hotline on 0844 815 6665. The ticket bundle offer is only available on standard ticket purchases, which are normally priced at £20 each.

Great to see good value deals like this by the region. That is what the fans asked for and the club are delivering.

Re: Good Deal at the Ospreys 3 games for £35
It's deals like this that put bums in seats and really see people participate. Good on them.
My season ticket for Quins includes enough games that if I went to every single one, it worked out at £7.21/game. More often than not it is the economics of a situation that makes you vote with your feet, and this should see people walking in!
...More footfall = higher drinks takings (booze & concession) and merchandise as well. Sound plans from The Ospreys.

I echo others in saying that more deals such as this one will entice more people to come to games. Its really is a great offer with a big HC game thrown in against the Tigers. Good on the O's, they really are trying to embrace regional concepts and this is another good move on their part. The other regions should take note.

Re: Good Deal at the Ospreys 3 games for £35
Without sounding too down on what is a decent offer, but those 3 games are as poor as it will get this season (aside from when the Blues travel down)
Zebre are the whipping boys, Embra are awfull this year and the O's don't stand a chance of HC qualification!!!
Winning rugby will put far more bums on seats than half assed offers that aren't really that impressive!

As you say, using the HC game (when they have slim to no chance of qualfiying) as a carrot to sell off two uninspiring ties is not going to fool too many people (though it may fool some!).
Still, it's 3 games of rugby I guess.

Re: Good Deal at the Ospreys 3 games for £35
But tickets are generally £15 this season, well syaing that Ive picked some up at the Dragons and Blues for that price, and even less for kids, so the deal isn't that great, and the fact that you are commited to 3 games that have very litltlew local or european interest...

Re: Good Deal at the Ospreys 3 games for £35
IMHO they would probably be better off handing out tickets for a fiver on the high street, strike a deal with vendors for a profit share on food/drink etc and try to fill the stadium with punters for the Zebre game, give 20'000 people a chance at seeing some winning rugby!!!
But as a Wales and Blues fan I havn't seen a winning game of rugby since April!!!

Do i deyect a little envy there BLUESMAN?.Its not our fault your season ended at the end of OCTOBER.Best thing the blues could do to help their supporters is plant a load of veg on that so called rugby field, the crops would flourish with the amount of s..t on it from the home dressing room.

Re: Good Deal at the Ospreys 3 games for £35
The Warriors demise was the best thing to happen to the O's!!
But you are right the Blues will soon be dead and buried, along with professional rugby in south wales.
Dreaming is not a word used to often in prof rugby circles in south Wales, the rats are starting to desert the ship, but you hang on buddy, grab that deckchair and stay port side, you may stay dry for a few moments longer!

You are right that the first two games are not against strong opposition but we have everything to play for vs Tigers and that should be a hell of a game.
We need other results to go our way but beating Tigers and preventing them getting anything from us will not do Ospreys any harm.

It is not a bad offer but, will there be any supporters to buy the tickets as many of the seats were free with the BOGOF season tickets. I have seen 4/5 games and many of the BOGOF seats are empty. Great crowd for the Scarlets though.

They can only do what they can to get people there to watch. I don't think the Ospreys are doing anything wrong, the economy of South Wales is the biggest mitigating factor not marketing our three for two deals.

I am not knocking the offer, it is good but most of the offers have already been taken up.

I guess that apart from the next match most Ospreys fans would rather watch the Ospreys..

It isn't an offer, it's a fixed price. Hardly covert Alun.
