A short note about Tim Visser
First topic message reminder :
1. Taking a break from boshing out 'Greatest' polls to note briefly that on Saturday, young Timothy McVisser's score against Glasgow meant that he becomes the joint top scorer in Celtic/Magners/Rabo history - matching Tommy Bowe's 48 touchdowns.
2. Worth also pointing out that Tommy has been playing in the league since 2003/4 whereas Tim only joined in 2009/2010.
3. Worth finally also mentioning that Tim is currently the leading scorer in the Robocop with 11 this season (George North is next, with 7). And this playing for an Edinburgh side currently unable to pick their respective arse and elbow out of a police line-up.
Props to the big feller.

absurd was actually the correct word IMHO, from my understanding of the word it means ridiculous and unreasonable.
Vissers try scoring rate is certainly absurd!!

Ashton had a similar rate in his first season didn't he? Look how that's turned out... What ever happens just don't let him sign for Saracens!

He has a great try scoring rate for Saracens, its Lancaster that cant get anything out of him.
His best try scoring was in the early days for Saints, but that was at semi pro level. His stats at premiership level are just behind Vissers.

It looks like I was a tad hasty in assuming some nefarious motive behind PSW's comments - sorry about that buddy!
I can only blame the new moon and that fact that there are just 32 days before a certain test match in the belly of the beast!

Tim Visser is some player, but I'll judge him better in the 6 nations, the wing spot for the Lions is one of the most keenly contested spots, with Ashton, Bowe (hopefully back in time), North, Visser, Earls, Gilroy, etc all putting their hands up for selection, I'd even put Andrew Trimble in there as well.

Quite the record, indeed - it's scary (even absurd ) to imagine what he might have achieved in a half decent team
