I like Jagielka. He's always solid and rarely makes mistakes. And maybe add Vertonghen too, although he's not really playing CB for Spurs at the moment.

He is consistently our best defender, although there was a reasonable period in the second half of last season that we was on the bench because of the form of Distin and Heitinga

Affers - I know there's a Sports Cafe at Picadilly, that's about it. I never venture into town so I really wouldn't know. There's a good place at the O2 but you're too far for that.

Cheers Azzy. As long as their is somewhere.

It's part of the wifre's Xmas present, so I can't venture too far for too long as I have to take her out for food later, but I have an hour and a half to kill and beer and football seems a sensible option

Adil Rami?

Distin was fantastic last two games for Everton, I'd like to sign him on here but he wont get the rating he deserves.

You're right Nando, although it looks a bit poncy. Not like the beer stained carpets and urine smelling old men peed on Bass that I am used to out West.

I am also fearing the prices....

PC Crowd gone mad, but I do agree that one thing doesn't make sense and makes you think it is made up - El Hadji Diouf as your favourite player?

I saw that Affers, Diouf has been at Leeds for what, 3 months? And been okay-good at best. Unless that kid is a new convert, that is deliberate.

I've blacked up on many occasions coffee

TSJ these are the players Norwich have "reportedly" been close to signing since the window opened and before:

Jacob Mulenga
Carlton Cole
Danny Graham
Beram Kayal
Gary Hooper
Craig Mackail Smith
Glenn Murray
Marouane Chamakh

That's just the ones off the top of my head!

That's some list. From the type of player appearing on it, it seems Norwich could do with Chamakh...

Apparantly him and Laudrup have had a rift. Players will always say they are staying on twitter, just like clubs won't say they are after anybody.

I think he'd be good for us

Trebs, I think Fan is putting together a 2027 team as we speak, he has great contacts in Africa that are bringing him the new Drogba, Eto'o and Radebe.
