What do people want from 2013?
As simple as the title says, the new season has started, if you had your won way, what would you like to see happen?
What's that you ask, you want to know mie, well okay then......
Nadal to return fit and healthy, too big a name to be injured.
Murray to win Wimbledon (beating Nadal and Federer to to so would be nice)
Federer to win the French Open (beating Nadal to do so would be lovely)
Azarenka and Sharapova to step up and challenge and beat Serena a few times (rivalries need to be more even to be taken seriously)
Federer and Nadal to meet at the US Open as they have never played there before
Del Potro to continue to trouble the top 4, this guy has more slams in him
Ferrer to beat Federer, just the once
Robin Soderling and Mardy Fish to return (and any other absentees)

Nadal back to his best, or as near as possible.
Murray to win Wimbledon.
Robson and Watson to get into the top 20.
Federer to keep defying his age.
Djokovic to maintain his brilliant consistency.
A young player or two to actually challenge the top 4 men.
I consider my last one to be the most unlikely unfortunately.

I'd like posters on this forum to stop mis-behaving so much! (I don't mean you harrpau7)
More realistically than that, Connors to come back and win the USO.
But I'd settle for Fed and Nadal dropping out of the top 4, to be replaced by Del Potro and one other. And for Ferrer to drop out of the top 10 and Murray to win Wimby.

Re: What do people want from 2013?
A second slam for Murray, preferably Wimbledon; RG for Federer after Nadal and Djokovic slug each other to a standstill.
I think Djoko deserves another slam, and I'd like to see Del Boy or Tsonga step up and get a slam.
A new young player making two Slam SF's.
I expect Djoko to get one or two, Fed to have won his last slam, Murray to get one and the remainder is anyone's guess, probably Nadal at RG if he's fit.

Someone other than the Top 4 to win a major would be nice.
Nadal to get bashed up again Rosol style would be brilliant. That was the most incredible match of 2012. The sheer power in the shots and bewilderment on the face of The Capybara was priceless.

For Lukas Rosol to repeat his giantkilling feat against Nadal last year at Wimbledon, but this time against either Federer or Murray or Djokovic.

On the men's side, for someone to really step up and challenge the top 4 on a reasonably regular basis. A Wimbledon win for Murray would be good as well.
On the women's side, Ana Ivanovic to stop all this playing tennis malarky and come and look after my personal needs
More seriously, for some of the supposed big names to start dominating the majors ahead of the part timer Serena. Oh, and for them to stop blydi shrieking...

How about a mixed doubles GB V USA match at Wimbledon between former GB players Sue Barker and Tim Henman against John McEnroe and Chris Evert?

Federer to win the calendar year grand slam! Failing that, someone outside the big four to have a turn.
Rafa to be fully fit for the clay season.

Laura Robson and Heather Watson to have great years, moving up the rankings. Murray for Wimbledon?
