Tyson Fury wants to fight.......
UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez apparently!

Even in a boxing match I would fancy Cain!
British heavyweight Tyson Fury sparked a new bout of boxing v MMA headlines on Thursday by claiming he would "smash" UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.
Fury's reputation is as strong as it has ever been after he chalked up his 20th professional bout without defeat, and if he gets his way he will fight Vitali Klitschko for a world title in March.
However, if he cannot lure the Ukrainian into the ring, Fury appears more than willing to take on newly-crowned UFC star Velasquez, who won back the belt against Junior Dos Santos with a dominant performance on December 29.
Fury attempted to bait a response either from Velasquez or UFC president Dana White, claiming he is the real "baddest man on the planet", a label often used to describe the UFC heavyweight champion. And it appears Fury would even be willing to fight MMA rules against Velasquez to prove his point:
"If the Klitchkos [won't] fight me then I'll go and fight the MMA heavyweight champ, at least he is game. Wouldn't last 2 rounds," Fury tweeted.
"I'm the new baddest man on the planet, I'll smash @cainmma. Let's get it on!"
Fury then tweeted to Velasquez: "I challenge you to fight all in a cage or ring! It could be billed as the man vs midget. Let's get it on! You small stiff idiot."
Should an MMA bout ever be made between the two fighters, Fury would surely start as a heavy underdog against Velasquez, despite his severe height and reach advantage.
Velasquez is an elite-level wrestler who can win a fight standing or on the ground, and previous examples of such match-ups have proven boxers cannot compete under such rules. James Toney was easily dismantled by Randy Couture in the last such high profile bout, and Fury v Velasquez would be expected to go the same way.

Can would take him down and have him finished in about 90 seconds at the very most.

As long as that?
I saw the fight and Cain has a little Tyson (Mike) about him. This will be a 20 second fight. A takedown and GnP or sub via choke out.

Re: Tyson Fury wants to fight.......
Fair enough for Fury to big himself up and call himself the best heavyweight/boxer on the planet but to call himself "the baddest man"?
It's a term generally used for aggressive wrecking-ball heavyweights (Liston, Foreman (1st time around) and [Mike] Tyson), not powder-puff punchers who throw lazy jabs and get troubled by Fat John McDermott.

I have absolutely no idea what that means. I have no idea who this Velasquez character is either.
Yet I don't feel as though I'm missing out...

In a 1 on 1 'fight' he's the hardest bloke on the planet (except for my dad, of course). Overeem may have a shout of beating him.

So when it comes to fighting Price, Fury will not be distracted off his path towards a Klitschko fight but is more than happy to have a meaningless fight against some UFC chap.

Nonsense. It's schoolboy grappling in tight pants.
Any prop forward worth his salt would smash his face in.

Is that not your thing Tina?
I appreciate some people think it looks gay, but grappling is not as easy as it looks. A prop forward would most certainly not beat him up.

I don't mind the tight pants part, but not schoolboys.

Re: Tyson Fury wants to fight.......
Its just talk from Fury to get publicity. He knows it will never happen and knows that he would stand no chance of beating CV in the octagon.
There has been quite alot of this stuff recently.
A few months ago JDS claimed he would KO Wlad in a boxing match.

I'm not Wlad's biggest fan but I don't think a boy band that couldn't win X-Factor would be able to knock him out.
