Having a sh1t kicker isnt bad luck, its a weakness in the side
its not just the kicks - they should and could have had more tries.
tigers have realised the ref is giving no time on the floor and adapted well. Tigers have been very professional and without significant cheating / gamesmanship have taken control of the game.

The difference between a team with a deep squad and one ravaged by injuries shows the most on the bench

Shane Williams eat your heart out.
Just teach the boy to tackle and where to stand and he will make an international yet.
Try of the HC?

The misses have all been fairly difficult kicks that he might only get 70% of the time, just all the 30%s showed up today.

Last time honest, but the ref shouts for tigers players to roll away yet ospreys players are allowed longer to roll away.

Re: Ospreys v Leicester
so Leicester need to beat Toulouse to go through (and have nothing silly happen like Toulouse picking up two BPs in defeat). Makes for a cracking last week-end.
Ospreys really should have won this one comfortably, but that's Leicester's strength, hanging in there, and pouncing when they get their chance.

Yeah, because the 2 finals he has played in he has lost...right?
No wait, pretty sure he was man of the match in both of them and lead his team to beat Leinster in Leinster.
Equally he was superb against Toulouse, home and away.
If he shouldn't play for Wales because of one bad kicking day then we are in trouble - since we can't pick Preistland, Hook or Stephen Jones ever again. I think Patchell has had a fairly poor place kicking day too.
Not to mention the fact that Halfpenny is the place kicker for Wales, and bar his place kicker, Biggar had a decent game - not quite the excellent performances he has been putting in recently.

Whereas yesterday Farrel was banging them in from the halfway line all day.
Sure its not been easy for Biggar but really a 28% kicking success rate is not acceptable for a Wales wannabe (unless Halfpenny takes that duty off him)
But it does genuinely raise the question, is he a big game player? I know viewtothetroll called him a choker but does this happen on a regular basis in big games or is this a real one off? Im no great Farrell fan but I have to say he has an uncanny ability to bring his best against the biggest challenges, and thats what you need for a test player.

Re: Ospreys v Leicester
Cracking match - really enjoyed that.
Leicester - professional ( in the real sense) and determined with control when needed. Worked out the ref who was reffing the breakdown tighter than they are used to. Kept their discipline well especially in the second half.
Ospreys - not just the missed kicks - many try chances went missing as well - thats where they lost the game - dominating territory and possession andcutting thru them but you have to score the tries. They didn't and paid the price

He was dire for 6 months while Webb was playing very well. But, fair play he is really showing his class recently.

I saw Farrell get about the same percentage of kicks away in Munster a few weeks ago.

A great game both teams gave it 100%. If only Biggar had not missed those kicks at goal it would of been a different out come.
Surely Fussell will be Wales Full back for the 6ns. I thought he had a great game, him and Eli Walker 2 of the best players on the field today.

Good player but still a liability, regardless of the game being big or not so big. That's why we need Steve-o back in the mix this season.

Re: Ospreys v Leicester
not sure about that PSW, even with a win Leicester would have needed to beat Toulouse in the last game, so win or draw was pretty much the same for them (re qualifying only, not potential seedings in the QF). Ospreys needed a BP win to give themselves a chance, but their execution just wasn't good enough.
