Divisional Round Weekend Discussion Thread!
First topic message reminder :
So the wildcard weekend was quite frankly crap, but the divisional shapes up to be a little humdinger!
Firstly we have the two AFC games with the same 4 teams returning to this stage as did in 2011/12!
Baltimore travel to Denver in what I think could be a potential banana skin for the Denver. Everything points towards a Denver win quite easily, but I quite fancy Baltimore to make this a close contest and actually nick the game. Look for Ray Rice to bounce back with a big game.
The Texans travel to Foxboro to take on the Patriots in what promises to be a very tense matchup. I am obviously as a New England fan gonna pick my Pats, but I think Houston could put up a good fight in this game! All depends on if Matt Schaub can find any sort of form, if he can they have a legit shot, if he plays like he did against Cincy then Houston are heading home in my opinion.
Then the NFC which has the better of the matchups I think!
Seattle travel to Atlanta in a real close matchup! I like the Falcons to take this one, not because they are infinately better, because I think both teams are quite even teams, but purely because in my opinion this is a game Atlanta just HAS to win. If they lose the media will be so smug, I will find it funny! But on a serious note this is one Atlanta has to have, and with the homefield advantage I fancy them to just edge it
In the matchup of the week Green Bay travel to Candlestick to take on San Francisco in a game which should make you fall in love with football all over again. Key to the matchup for me is whether Green Bay can protect Aaron Rodgers. If they can I can't see the Niners hanging with Green Bay's offence. And on that note it is paramount that San Fran get Justin Smith back. Aldon Smith has looked lost without him, and if he isn't back I like Green Bay's chances of protecting Rodgers

So it's the Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons for a place in the Super Bowl.
I'm hoping for a 49ers vs Patriots showdown in three weeks.

Would love to think that somehow, at some point today, Tom Brady gets a message through to Richard Sherman saying "You mad Bro'???"
Brady rolls on into the Championship game while Sherman goes home to think about Roddy White running past him for a 47 yard TD for the next few months. Turns out that form really is temporary while class is permanent.....

Oh, also meant to say, what on earth is Pete Carroll whining about with this practice field goal stuff??? Icing the kicker doesn't work. The stats show it. You screwed up. Accept it. Learn from it. Move on. Don't whine.

Under the radar Brady become the most winningest QB in playoff history yesterday.

They were terrible this year. Go ahead, I got over that one 2 months ago
Come on Cherries, when you talk that much theres ging to be a backlash. Roll with the punches mate, we've all had heartbreaking playoff losses before.

Kaepernick is the future of the NFL I think. Wilson is good but until I see him standing in the pocket consistentlyand not just vrolling out most of the time, I just don't see him being one of the best. San Francisco 49ers, Division Champs and still better than Pete the Cheat and the Seachickens. Seattle got every bit of luck this season to get where they were and it's only karma that they lost a heartbreaker.

Keep biting birdy. I can also look back to one of Wilson's first games against the 49ers and he had a terrible performance. And Kaepernick never got blown away or choked in that game, the entire team did. All young qb's have stinkers. But we still made it further .
Q: What is the difference between a Seahawks fan, Pete Carroll and a baby?
A: The baby will stop whining after awhile.

Cherries- I've removed your attempt at an insult, still you talk rubbish all season about how amazing the Seahawks are so you should expect to have everyone point it out to you when they prove they're not. If you can't handle it without resorting to using swearwords don't act like they've won 10 in a row.

Feel free to do as much trash talking as you want all it does is make the rest of this forum hate the Seahawks and want them to lose. If you swear again though then you'll be having a nice break from the board.cherriesfna wrote:i can talk as much rubbish as i want 12thman repping and proud of itDerbyblue wrote:I unfortunately know what you mean.sodhat wrote:GSC wrote:we've all had heartbreaking playoff losses before
