Connacht Rugby have confirmed that New Zealander Pat Lam will replace Eric Elwood at the end of the season as head coach.

Not a bad signing for Connacht. Lam didn't have a happy ending with the Auckland Blues but he had a decent record before that.

Fingers crossed he will move Connacht further under him after some great work by Elwood.
I think development is still the key word

What is Elwood off to do? He's leaving just as Kidney gets the boot... Am I jumping the shark in suggesting he should be in for the Ireland job?
