The way these injury are coming for Wales they wont have any fit players to pick from for the 6ns.

Unless we go out with two open-sides from Warbs, Tips and Navidi then Lewis Evans should get his first cap at blind-side. And no doubt it will be earnt.

They'll select McCusker and Turnbull though.

Absolutely appalling luck. Wouldn't wish this on any team.

A thumb injury is the worst. Physically there is nothing wrong apart from this little appendage that extrudes from your hand, you can't catch, you can't tackle, you can't go into a ruck, you can't go into a scrum to bind.

Frustrating to say the least.

Schalk burger had a broken thumb before the RWC last year and just made it in time for the RWC.

I wonder if you can still pick your nose though?

OK so we really are in a dreadful position with regards to locks and back up bench cover could be nigh on impossible but lets have a look at the whole team see what we could put out

James (1st choice)
Hibbard/Rees (1st and 2nd choice, if Hibbard fit we ok if not then bench cover bare)
Jones (1st choice)
Gough (7th or 8th choice but experience vital and will bust a gut for 55-55 minutes)
King/Peers (5th & 6th choice one start other on bench)
Warburton (not fan of moving him but needs must at moment)
Faletau (1st choice)
Tipuric 1st choice for most)

Phillips (Best of bad bunch still)
Biggar (Form Welsh 10 and deserves to start)

North (1st choice should be fit)
Roberts (Still 1st choice when fit and finding some form)
JD (1st choice by proverbial mile)
Cuthbert (Coaches 1st choice still)

Halfpenny

Bench - Andrews, Rees if Hibbard fit if not ???, King or Peers, Evans, Webb, Hook is he fit?, Li Williams

We'll still make a decent fist of it.

Lets be honest our lineout has never been our strongest weapon even with 1st choice players available so we should be use to that.
