Say, 2 of 4 lawyers must be accepted, but you can also nominate 2 or 3 players that absolutely won't get an offer made on.
As you are nominating 2, that doesn't achieve anything. You just accept the two you nominate.
Does seem to be two camps on what they get from the game and whether they would like it to evolve.

I would say you can nominate three of five end of season lawyers and the other two are at random, the other two have to be sold but not necessarily to lawyers.

No, I'm saying nominate those that can't receive an offer - all offers would be random barring your 'protected' players

You've gone from 100% against forced sales, to 2 players who are drawn at random and you have no choice but to sell both

So no nominating of players to be included at all? Seems a sensible approach.

I think this has been a very fun and lively first season. Rather than make wholesale changes - star players, lots of forced player sales etc - we should try and keep it as normal as possible. But spice it up slightly.
I really do think we should cut two teams though.

I'm just kidding you Marky.
I think there is a compromise in there. Azzy's way is the closest thing to it at the moment (me, I'd have 5 lawyers, no protected players, no nominating any of them and having to sell 4 of them )
I also thinking cutting the non-participating managers loose is a good plan

Re: Euro Division Homepage XLVI
So here's what we're looking at:
1. End of season Lawyers
2. Cutting some teams, probably 2
3. Changing the penalties for not submitting tactics or voting
I don't see anything else needing changing though.

4. Following a mass takeover from MK Dons owneers, all the teams to relocate to new countries meaning that your domestic players allocation changes completely. Spain, Italy, Germany and England becomes, Georgia, Belarus, Lithuania and Latvia

If its 5 lawyers at random, you should have to accept no more than 3 of them. That is something people would accept imo.

It's only taken 10 years then.
On that note, on behalf of all Everton fans, for anyone who watched that game last night, I'd like to apologise for the absolute dross that was served up and for the two hours that you have needlessly lost.
By far and away our worst performance of the season.

I still think 2 nominated, 3 random, 3 protected players and you have to accept 4 out of the 5

How about this approach (2 nominated, 3 random, any 3 from 5), but you don't get to protect any from being drawn randomly

These discussions are fruitful of course, but we still need Hero to have his say on the direction of the league. There may be other options to explore.

It's where you sign your savings over to the 606v2 Euro Division legal department as collateral for your participation. If you miss votes or tactics we take the lot.

Re: Euro Division Homepage XLVI
I don't want a bunch of gringos in my team thanks. Plus it would only benefit the manager who holds out the longest - if Gregers had to sell his Spaniards, he could command huge amounts for his better players, giving him a huge advantage in buying new players. I really hate this ideaGSC wrote:I think moving around countries would improve transfers tbh

BBC Gossip:
France international Moussa Sissoko, 23, is ready to spurn interest from across Europe to push through a move to Newcastle United - although QPR could look to hijack the Magpies' bid for the midfielder.
I knwo i said this yday but I would find it soooo funny if Arry hijacks a QPR transfer. I really want him to do it again.
I dont like the country swap idea. Ive built my teams based on that, I dont want to have to change it all now & get inflated prices on players.
Azzy, pie? As in nom nom Pie or 3.14159 Pie?
