Royal rumble surprise entrants

With the rumble right around the corner and rather than talking about the rock & punk match who does everybody think will be the surprise rumble entrants this year?

Obviously they are never going to win it, unless it's a returning big star name, but are there just for nostalgia reasons ala diesel, booker t, road dogg etc

Billy Gunn as Mr Ass

Dunno why, but Foley as Dude, Mankind and Cactus Jack, eliminating 1 member of Shield per entry

Shelton Benjamin.

I know he never really achieved much in WWE but I would love to hear that "AINT NO STOPPING ME NOOOOOOOWWW" blast out.

Trying to think on who that could realistically return I would actually care about.

Everyone mentioned so far would be a meh on the excitement scale.

Edge? Ken Shamrock? DDP? Not really fussed on any nostalgia trip.

Id mark a damn sight more if they brought in Kevin Steen, Sami Callihan, El Genrico, Kassius Ohno, PAC etc, actually a new guy getting a push instead.

With Mania looking like a legends packed show again, I'd love a complete random like El Genrico, Kassius Ohno or Adrian Neville to win the rumble!!!

Really hope Big E gets to go up against someone properly, but he'll probably just be walking outside and have to catch Ziggler at some point

Not to sure about surprise entrants but I expect ryback to have a big rumble showing along with the shield, I can see the shield cleaning house until all three are left standing then ryback enters and eliminates all three.

The thing with The Sheild is they've been booked as the best team, 3 guys working as a unit. How would they fare being broken up into the Rumble?

I could see all entering between 8 and 14 clear house as a team then Ryback comes in about 18 and eliminate all 3!

Yeah Ive thought that for a few weeks, that they'll have a SES moment only to have Ryback hurl them all out.
Am expecting Ryback to have most eliminations.

I think Ryback is beating Kane's Elimination record, and I would quite like it if he were to take Kane out as his last one too just in a nod to him

Ryback is on 11 eliminations then Kane comes out could be epic if done right!

I actually went looking for the rumble where punk was preaching to the crowd, somebody came in, he eliminated them, then went back to preaching but couldn't find it anywhere on YouTube. I don't think that will ever be done again.

In regards to this rumble I've seen tommy dreamers name has been mentioned :-/

Of guys that could generate the biggest pop from an appearance in the Rumble (not picking guys who've retired ie HBK or Edge or simply wouldn't return in a Rumble ie Stone Cold) I would plump for Batista or Goldberg.
I think Mark Henry and Christian will be the genuine biggest returns of the night with a possible appearance of John Morrison for a spot moment.

He could have a Royal Rumble spot-off with Kofi Kingston

A better use of JoMo would be to have him come running out all set to compete only for security to tackle him and escort him out of the building.

I would liek to see a people pushed, rather than old faces back, Ohno, Wyatt, Langston, a surprise entry for Brad Maddox maybe. I dont see the shield competing, rather Ryback is in the last pair, with whoever 1 more needed for the Kane record, when the shield interupt from nowhere and help to get him eliminated, adding another person to the list of potential stablemates.

Would Also be nice for others although not going to win the rumble, get a good run in it i.e Zach Ryder, Big E Langston, The Miz (To get him back from interviewer to wrestler again).

Also would like to see the returns of Mason Ryan, this is built for him to show his strength along with high profile returns for Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd.

My outsider for a surprise entrant is Viscera.

I also want The Shield not to be given entries, but to take out lower card faces to earn their place in the match. Santino, Zack Ryder (who will probably send a tweet later crying about it) and Justin Gabriel or Hornswoggle (Im not purposefully picking on people you've mentioned sparxz, I promise) as expendable faces.

This could have been the rumble for Tyson Kidd to really make an impact he's actually really talented and got the start of a slight push when he defeated tensi but that faded away, shame he's got such a bad injury.

Dont think ive seen it mentioned but how about HHH himself involved

He'd have to announce his surprise return two weeks earlier on Raw surely?

I think Christian might be worth a shout.

And possibly Matt Hardy who takes out Christian setting up a feud on Smackdown.
