Phil Vickery has retired
While reading the thread about Sarries' new signings I was shocked to discover that Big Phil Vickery had retired. I'm not sure how many others of you, like myself, will have missed this, but I wish him well in his retirement - his playing services are a big loss to the game

WTF? Is this a WUM Asbo? I would've thought this would have warranted a bit more attention on here, if it was true.

Beast will surely be sending him a "sorry you're retiring card".
In all seriousness a top class player and everyone is caught once in their career.. often at the twilight. Greatest hour for him must be taking ENG to the world cup final in 2007. The leadership in that side from him and the senior players was massive... for me, more than 03.

Is this some kind of petty South West rivalry? Just because he's Cornish doesn't give you the right ASBO to spread malicious rumours!
