Watson under the cosh at the moment, Radwanska breaks again for 5-2.
Quite looking forward to seeing Almagro vs JJ later on, that'll be a real test of where the latter's at!
Edit: This has officially gotten entertaining. Some great rallies at the start of the second set, Radwanska just made a crazy pickup on the opening point at 0-1.

Yea can't wait for Jerry-Almagro clash, I aslo feel Melzer can cause an upset here.
Watson going down easy against Agnes, I expected more fight from her.
Do anybody think Stepho the stud to give any fight to Djoko? in 2007 when Djoko reached his first final Stepho gave one hell of match to Djoko, Djoko however scraped a close 5 setter in the tiebreak.

Got to love Stepanek. Even though he is losing 6-3 6-4 his great sense of humour he is displaying is refreshing. He is mixing his play up very well and Djokovic is joining in with the jolly repartee. Great entertainment.

Sharapova lucky to face an unknown for this third round clash, who she can blow off the court as she did both previous opponents. Oh hang on ..... Isn't that the multi-Slam winner former number 1 and Olympic Champion Venus Williams ........???

Poor show from Maria, conceding four games like that - four more than in both previous rounds combined........

Remember those days when Jurgen was in the top 10? What a fall from grace.

I never knew Jurgen was in top 10, but he had all those tools to beat even the top 4, yes its big time fall from his level.

Re: Australian Open Day 5 thread
Hmmm .....he's 32 this year, so in reality I don't see it as a "fall from grace" but more a case of gradual, inevitable decline. After all, you could look at it another way and say he's done well to stay as high as he is, giving him direct entry to the Slams and Masters - unlike many others over the years who have had to rely on the goodwill of TD's for wildcards.
I'm not sure how pleased he is with the photo they used for his ATP profile. Not the most flattering, makes him look more the guy who comes to read your gas meter than a professional tennis player ......

Re: Australian Open Day 5 thread
What I meant about Jurgen is that he was as high as 8 in 2011 which isn't that long ago and then suddenly his form just disappeared. I think (someone correct me on this?) he was injured for a while and is 31 now but he pretty much went off the radar in terms of good performances and his beatdown from Berdych proves how off the pace he is these days.
Still, I agree with the point that he's done well to be around the 30 mark and is getting automatic entry into the biggest tournaments. That picture is hilarious also.
