By far the best thing Cantona ever did in football.

Yeah that was good. I've never understood why people claim it made no sense though. Made perfect sense to me.

I didn't think he was that great myself. Good player surrounded by some great ones and some pretty weak opposition.
Far too high an opinion of himself as well.
As I said Kung Fu kick was the best thing he ever did.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2013/jan/24/eden-hazard-ballboy-chelsea-swansea
a decent view on the incident IMO (surprisingly considering it's the guardian whose coverage of Chelsea usually sees them painted as the devil incarnate). I particularly agree with the sentiment that it's a shame the incident is overshawdowing what was a mightily fine performance by Swansea over the two legs (though I find the press pointing that out somewhat ironic, given the circumstances).
I would therefore like to take this occasion to extent my heartfelt congratulations to Swansea, who thoroughly deserve their place in the final, and wish them well in it.

Apparently the police are now involved. Give me strength. If must break the law everytime I bump in to someone if this is a crime.

Officially confirmed that Zaha is having a medical at Manchester United today, then he'll be loaned back to Palace for the rest of the season. Great deal for all parties that.

I believe the police are involved because he has received death threats. While nothing will probably come from them they are right to investigate these threats.

The Welsh police said the complaints came from SURREY AND KENT which meant they 'had' to investigate. Beyond ridiculous.

And?
4 footballers are currently in court on similar charges and the accuser has just admitted telling a pack of lies and being full of sh!t.

I think Giroud gets unfair criticism at times. He's not as bad as a lot of people are saying he is - he's better than Gervinho!!
On another note, good to see QPR getting a hiding. #ArryOut

I've always said he does TSJ, and I will maintain that he is a good player. His movement is very good.
However how Andre Santos ended up in an Arsenal shirt is beyond me

At least someone agrees with me!! I think he'd get more goals in a team that played more to his strengths.

How can Fulham be so bad (and play so different) away from home? It's ingrained in the club, no matter which manager they have they're always poor away.

Nightmare scenario:
You are 5-1 down at the Nou Camp with 30 minutes left, you are down to 10 men and Messi has 4.

Anyone see the Glenn Whelan tackle on Saturday? Should have been a straight red card, however he got away without a yellow, and because Howard Webb has said he saw it the FA can't do anything either.
This type of thing makes the FA look a joke.

He didnt get a yellow.
Whilst occassionally these things happen it is important the referees aren't undermined, first step to having every decision reviewed and results adjusted etc.

I know it's a typo but it's a funny typo.
"7 goals Fernando Torres scored in this Premier league campaign so far. Not bad. Not nearly good enough though to justify the market value of £31 he still nurtured from the exorbitant transfer fee Chelsea paid for the Spanish striker 2 years ago."

Sissoko is an absolute unit. Him & Tiote in midfield would be scary. Gutierrez must perform tonight, absolute must win. Still 0-0....nervy.
Further news is that it looks like Trabzonspor forward Paulo Henrique is on his way to Sporting Lisbon, where he could be a replacement for Ricky van Wolfswinkel who could be on his way to Newcastle......interesting.

I thought Ricky was going to Norwich? He's a strange one; he was linked with Man Utd not that long ago but his career seems to have stagnated. Someone with more interest in the Portugese League than myself will be able to say more about him.

Going to be tough keeping Cabaye this summer in my opinion. Would be perfect for Sir Alex and a perfect replacement for Paul Scholes.

Villa are going down, don't think cabaye fits any top clubs system (in England anyway) so maybe you can hold onto him?
