If They Had Stopped When They Should Have

So, we all have opinions on when a boxer should or should have retired.

I thought it be nice to talk on that for a little while.

Here's my question: If they had retired when they should have then what would their record have been?

In terms of should have, i mean at the beginning of their decline.

In recent years Roy Jones has to be the best example of someone fighting way beyond their prime.

Who else you got out there? And what would their record be, in your opinion, if they had called it a day?

Both a fix and a fox, az! He was only 30 or so when Holy I took place, so I fear that it has to be counted somewhat against him. However, the edge that was already leaving after Rooney was fired was well and truly extinguished by jail. We can ignore most of what happened after 92, but not absolutely everything.

I wish Joe Louis would have stayed retired when he first retired. There are Marciano fans out there who believe that the Marciano beating of an old Louis makes him the better heavyweight and that he would beaten prime Louis the same way.

He's popular so people always gave him the benefit of the doubt after his losses, but I think he should have jacked it in after the Frenkel loss. Getting pushed to the limit by Shane MacPhilbin speaks volumes of how much he's declined!

Atila, Presumably, you'd have quite liked Leonard to have retired immediately after lacing up his gloves? Although then you'd never have had the pleasure of the Norris and camacho 'fights'. Clouds and silver linings!
