Can we gauge opinions on what we should do with Star Player bids/lawyers/TP limit.

The original proposal is No Star Player bids, 5 lawyers (2 nominated, 3 random) of which you must accept (or sell in the league) 3, TP limit is boosted to £18m on the Tuesday after the cup final

Dont even need to look at the spoiler above to know Cena won the rumble, Rock won the belt, so the uncreative WWE team can have another repeat of last yeas Wrestlemaina of Rock v Cena main event.

My Mrs little 7 year old brother love wwe so I keep up to date with him lol. But the uncreative remark above was from my. From what ive seen bit of recently WWE has gone stale. Partly to do with, I think I heard, Vince's mrs going into politics they have to keep the shows PG. So no Attitude Era type of stuff like back in the good old days. + they have a poor creative team. Too many wrestles not being utilised properly, making story lines & having them drag out too long or go stale too quick.
Ive seen a few Raw ep's building to the Rumble and they were a very poor product compared to the HHH, Austin, Rock times.

Afro, Im not a fan of having to accept 3 lawyers bids when not receiving a star player bid.
Also upping the tp limit to £18m isnt fair on those who dont have the cash to use. It will be forcing managers to accept maybe multiple lawyers offers just to make 1 £18m signing.
How much Budget Boost will we get for the new season? Is it based on league finishing positions like previous seasons where top of league gets minimal & lowers teams get more?

I haven't watched WWE for ages. I keep up on here with the gist of it, but to be honest I'd rather watch other things right now. Nothing much keeps me interested other than CM Punk.

Haha, just a quick analysis from what ive seen lately. I love the Royal Rumble so usually watch the lead up to it. Just seems really poor compared to when I was a kid/teen. Ill usually watch or scan through Wrestlemania as I like to see the big tron & stage + entrances to people wiht cool music, Like Edge.
Punk is quality on the mic, better than HHH is/was & defo better than the Rocks but probs down to them making Rock have silly gimmicky phrases.

What is the difference between boosting TP limit and having star player bids?

Errr £18m or £25m maybe, not sure actually.
But Im not keen on the idea of having to accept 3 out of 5 lawyers offers when Ive built my team around the country assigned. Say I have to sell one of my top Italian players if will be difficult to replace due to other teams having the best Italians available within tp limit and the best ones being unavailable due to tp limit.

You do nominate 2 of the players yourself, so it's essentially you having to accept 1 out of the 3 randomly drawn ones

Err, I dont know. If people dont have £18m to use on a TP they may lose out on a player.
If everyone was given a Star Player bid of £20-25m then everyone gets a player.
I think thats what im trying to say.

The players you nominate, do you get TM value or what % up/down on TM Value?

The lawyer values would be the usual TM value + 20%, rounded up to the next £500k.

I can see your point between star players and boosting the TP limit. It is still open for discussion which is better for the competitiveness of the league

I think everyone will have sent them to Hero as he was carrying on until the end of the season, and historically it's always been just him. I know thats what I did.

I'll email him to see who has sent them, so they still qualify for the bonus, and we can get them all forwarded

On the nationality, perhaps put it to the vote.

No Star Players,
Lawyers will be 2 nominated, 3 drawn at random, you have to sell 3 of the 5 (either through the lawyers offer or domestically)
The TP limit will be put up to £19.5m
