Deloitte Football Money League 2013
Deloitte's latest survey throws up some interesting stats re some of the Brit clubs, especially with respect to some of the discussions on here recently.
United obviously still the highest revenue club in the UK but Citeh now joining them in the top 10 (along with Juve back in) making 5 out of the top 10 clubs by revenue UK based. Interestingly Real Madrids revenues (#1) are double those of Milan in 8th which is the highest of all the Italian clubs.
United also have the highest average attendence, just nudging Barcelona into 3rd place but still behind an astonishing 80k per game AVERAGE of Borussia Dortmund.
Arsenal are the next most attended Brit club, in 8th at 60k per game.
Revenue split is interesting too. United by far the most balanced of the Brit clubs, with revenues split 31:32:37 % between matchday, broadcast and commercial respectively.
Arsenal's high ticket prices compensate well for the lower attendence as their matchday revenues are broadly the same as United's however Citeh's sugar daddy status is exemplified by a paltry 13% of revenues coming from matchday revenues that are a third of United's. Chelsea win on broadcast revenues, presumably owing to the Champions League win, Arsenal still way behind United though inspite of United's appalling CL showing.

Liverpool at 9th is still pretty good considering the downturn of the past few years and suggests there is more than a decent foundation to work on to build the club back up.

Newcastle at 20th is bad either, considering we are awful and were relegated 3 years ago.

Such a strong fan base basically, along with careful well considered transfer policies.
Liked the stat from last season where they showed how Pardew spent the £35m he got for Carroll and the success his subsequent side had!
