In recent times rumours have circulated of a positive centre signing in the works for Welsh, from the ridiculous to the entirely possible, with the level of player reaching the heights of South African veteran 12 Jean de Villiers.

However, it has now been revealed to be Argentine international Gonzalo Tiesi.

Bad luck. Tongahuia has been good at 12 for them this season though.

Tiesi is a 13 mainly , him and Tonga'uhia will be a fantastic combo.

That is a good signing for Welsh - my only issue with it is the increasing lack of availability of the Arge players due to international commitments. We've experienced that at Exe with Gonzo Camacho this season - basically it was virtually Christmas before he was back into the swing of things
