Wow. Just wow. Great fight. The art of hit and not get hit is lost on those guys.

Massive props to Kimbo for making a very good life for himself.

It was a damn good fight. I always thought Kimbo to be chinny, but he proved he can take a serious thump.

You have to admire that and how many huge shots they both took

Its not just little skill on show, there was NO skill on show

If that guy was 15-20 lbs lighter he would have definately got the KO and gives himself a big(bigger) payday in the future. That's why I don't get why thes edits don't try to push themselves to see if they can pull off the upset

people complain about klitschko being boring but at least you see a master class of how to box when youw atch them Great jab great straight rights ecellent defense etc. This fight was very entertaining but it was so messy and sloppy and very limited boxing skills.

Also kimbo slice's biggest problem is his stamina. he lost 1 street fight against a guy who he battered for the first minute but the guy took his best shots and kimbo gassed. happened in the ufc and kimbo gassed by the end of round 1 in this fight.

Hilarious fight which was entertaining, but not Fight of the Year, it lacked the quality needed and the prolonged action. 90 seconds of action cannot win a fight FOTY.

Entertaining stuff though.

Clearly not fight of the year & Kimbo is going nowhere in the pro ranks but a good punch up all the same. Maybe he can carve out a little 4 rd fight career for himself, be entertaining to see him in HW prizefighter!

Funny for how most of the fight it was brawling with no skill yet the way Kimbo finished it was actually quite a slick counterpunch...

Kimbos a good slugger. Better suited to boxing than mma. He didnt have the all round game to survive in mma and hes too old to learn. Boxing suits his striking more. He wont become a wrold champ but he will entertain.

after 2 rounds he looked knackered... no way he could go 12 rounds..

To be fair, that's the first boxing match I've seen him in that didn't look like a total fix.

I'm sure I posted links to a couple of his recent fights and they were very suspect but this looked like a bigger promotion with a bit more attention on it.

Just watched the Bonin/Silvin fight after boxing Prospect's recommendations, hilarious! I looked up Bonin and couldn't believe he built up a 41-3 record and was once ranked 11th by WBC!

Just shows what clever match making can do!

Is that the same Bonin that Haye destroyed in 1 round for his heavyweight debut/cameo a few years ago?

Also worth remembering that Audley beat Bonin as well! But yeah that fight (the Silvin one) is one of my favourite, always brings a smile to my face.

Why anyone would be stupid enough to do that to Mclean is beyond me. Johnny Waldron WAS the man when it came to unlicensed boxing.

This was the undercard of Geale vs Mundine, interesting to see if Kimbo gets more fights after fighting on that card.

My mother in-law went to watch Dave Courtney as a guest speaker at a social club in Newcastle at the weekend. (John Davison the Geordie lightweight ex-world champ was dancing like a n0b while Kenny "Panda" Anderson watched from the wings). Not my idea of a nights entertainment but hey ho.

One that sticks in my mind from the other night is a classic where Pretty Boy Shaw knocks a guy spark out, he slumps to the floor, asleep against the turnbuckle, Roy promptly lifts the unconscious fella up in a firemans lift and "knocks him out again". Brutal.

When it comes to Johnny Waldron, he's another guy who has a reputation built upon words. As far as i am aware NO FOOTAGE EXISTS. The two knockouts he supposedly inflicted on Mclean are "ALLEGED" (No Evidence).

Books can do wonders for a bygone era's boxers, fighters, and gangsters. Is Dave Courtney as "BAD" as his books and rhetoric imply, or, is he a charismatic crook with a load of nasty associates who's making a few bob embelishing a yarn?

I mean, how do we no Johnny Wladren (and some boxing greats) are as great as the words we read imply, and not just other examples of a "Courtney phenomenon", built upon literature's loose relationship with the truth, with the intention of selling a few books?

My admiration for Waldron is information of him passed down by my family who did he see him fight, unlike most unlicensed guys he had a bit of actual skill to go with his toughness.

Apparently my uncle did and he backed up the stories but he did have a habit of BSing.
