Newcastle in the hunt to sign Robert Snodgrass
Newcastle are the latest Premier League club chasing Leeds' Robert Snodgrass.
Stoke and West Brom are already in the hunt for the 23-year-old Scotland winger.
But Toon boss Alan Pardew will also target £5million-rated Snodgrass, who is set to quit Elland Road if Leeds miss out on promotion.
Pardew wants to inject more pace into his side next season. And he is convinced Snodgrass can excite Magpies fans the same way Chris Waddle and David Ginola did in the past.
Stoke manager Tony Pulis and Baggies chief Roy Hodgson have made regular checks on Snodgrass, who cost Leeds just £275,000 from Livingston three years ago and still has two years left to run on his contract.
Snodgrass is keen to play Premier League football and boost his international ambitions after breaking into Craig Levein's Scotland team this term.
And Leeds' hopes of ending their seven-year exile from the top flight have been hit by a nightmare run which has seen them take just six points from their last eight games.
Simon Grayson's side are two points adrift of the play-off places and need to beat promotion-rivals Burnley at home on Saturday to stay in the hunt.

This is brilliant news for Newcastle especially with Stephen Ireland now out for the rest of the season. This would a great signing going into the next season adding to a very strong Newcastle midfield.

Shocking that his value is so high, I know the lad personally, good boy but anytine hes got time off he is always up here hanging around with the lowlifes he grew up with, funnily enough that area is called Gallowgate so he might feel at home at Newcastle

saw him at Ashton Gate earlier this season, pure brilliance, his goal against us as well was quality, deserves to play in the prem.
Gaffer everyones values are high atm, Connor Wickham at £15m is an example, yes i know he's young but proven players at premier league level have moved for less.

They can keep their mitts off!
He's ours, stop poaching our players or I will report you to the FA for tapping our players up

If Leeds don't get promoted and Newcastle offer the right price he'll surely take it.
