I choked on my con flakes when I noticed no Bret hart! haha. unlucky with the oversight. there was a great article on 606 a while back where we all voted on different attributes and came up with a greatest ever. Anyone remember that?

Though I would always go with Shawn Michaels. He has been involved with some amazing matches and the most memorable. He was good at selling and he even carried some pig awful wrestlers too and made them look good.

I'd vote Shawn but due to Hart Angle Race and Sting in the vote it wouldn't be a genuine vote

There's names on that list that don't even make sense, how the hell can you include say Beer Money and MCMG before LOD or Dudley Boys if you are including tag teams?

Rey Mysterio is on the list but Guerrero isn't?

I can understand you 'loling' at John Cena but Daniels and Joe? They're two of the best technical wrestlers I've ever seen. You are obviously blinded by the current drival that the WWE show.

While there are obvious absentees etc I went for Shawn Michaels as I think that he would likely be the choice of most from the era 95 - present...

I would say that the Montreal issues put rather a cloud over Bret but the fact remains that in terms of pro wrestling no-one was better at performing moves. I would be right in saying that no opponent suffered a major injury in the ring with him?

While I can understand the votes for the Rock, he left full time wrestling too soon to be in contention in my opinion (unless he is to make a comeback akin to Michaels 03 - 10 now)

Quite agree but it is where you draw the line... you could keep going back but many of the men from the past (Sammartino, Thesz, Kowalski) are only really names and fabled reputations now. In someways many of the people on this board (me included) would have began watching wrestling in the mid to late 90's if you take that as the starting point I don't think that Hogan would get in there for that period. If we are looking at the whole history of the business then I don't think that we are qualified to say!

1) Michaels
2) B. Hart
3) Austin
4) Sting
5) Undertaker

With honourable mentions to Rock, HHH, Hogan and Naitch

I never understand people who can make a judgement on what someone thinks when they don't even know them or have asked them their views. I am not blinded by the current drival that the WWE show as I haven't watched a Raw or SmackDown since Wrestlemania as I was that annoyed by the god awful 'drival' as you put it they have given us for a good few years now. However on my point of 'loling' at Daniels and Joe - I base that on the fact they have done zero compared to some of the names that should appear on the list. I wouldn't even consider them or several others on the list if I was to think up who the best wrestler was, be that on in ring ability or character. I'm not starting a match here but please don't try to not make judgement on my thoughts when you are far from them...

I don't think I could decide on just one wrestler as "the best". For me, it's like this...
Best draw: Austin or Hogan
Best technically: Angle, Bret Hart or AJ Styles (Early TNA, he was THE man)
Best Spot-man: Mick Foley, Jeff Hardy (love him or hate him) or Shane Mcmahon (that one may be controversial)
Best overall matches: Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Austin or Jericho
Best in-rin psychology: Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels or Mick foley
Best Promo: Mick Foley, Austin, Rock, Jericho or Hogan
Best Entertainer: The Rock
Best gimmick: Undertaker, Stone Cold, early Kane or late 90s Mcmahon
