Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
First topic message reminder :
Managers may make 5 FT enquiries per week, starting at 0900 every Monday morning. The exception to this will be the end of the season, where additional FT enquiries will be granted.
FT enquiries, once made, can continue throughout the week until a deal is agreed. If however a FT enquiry is refused, please do not re-bid – a refusal will not be reconsidered regardless of the bid amount.
FT enquiries should be realistic, therefore we require a legitimate source – the more the merrier – to be convinced that your bid would be successful in real life. The current legitimate source list is currently as follows:
The Guardian
The Telegraph
The Times
Daily Mail
BBC Sport
Sky Sports
The current list of sources NOT accepted is currently: The Mirror, The Sun, Daily Express, Talksport, Daily Star, Metro, Bleacher Report, Trival Football, Caught Offside, Goal, Life’s a Pitch
No players brought in on a Friday may be used for that week’s tactics, as it would allow an unfair advantage for that team.
Players that are brought into the league through FTs are not allowed to be sold within the league for a minimum of 6 league games. This will avoid managers buying players on behalf of ‘smaller’ clubs, then selling them on, leaving a player at a club he would never have agreed to join.

Jeremy Toulalan
Malaga to Wigan
£12.5 million
In my opinion bigger players have moved to our rivals and Malaga need to raise money or fave exile from Europe for more and more seasons. This would smash our transfer record.

Right lads, those latest bids are with GSC. Apologies for the delay, especially to Marky whose bids I missed entirely

Kevin Strootman
PSV to Swansea
£14m
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/kevin-strootman/profil/spieler_68864.html
Strootman would be a very good addition to our side in need of a class DM...£14m is a good amount and they would be able to find a replacement, also he would get a crack at the premier league...

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Martin Caceres - £7.5m
Juve to Fulham
The defender has started less than half of the games this season with Lichtsteiner preferred at right back. We would make him first choice to help him regain the first choice position for Uruguay as Maxi Periera is now their first choice right back. The transfer fee represents a profit on what Juventus paid for the defender.
Heiko Westermann - £4m
Hamburg to Fulham
Hamburg are outside of the European places and aren't in Europe this season, it doesn't seem a possibility and they look resigned to mid-table. We would give Westermann first team football as we look to shore up the defense.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Michael Dawson - £5m
Tottenham to Fulham
May have got a few games recently but Gallas, Caulker and Vertonghen have all made more Premier League starts than the defender this season and Kaboul when fit is a starting player. The player was made available for transfer in the summer and QPR nearly signed him but we wish to give Dawson a fresh start at Fulham, and he won't even have to move house.
Jean Francois Gillet - £1.5m
Torino to Fulham
The experienced goalkeeper is 33 years of age and we want to give him a final chance to play in the Premier League and allow him to leave a struggling side. Torino have the experienced Coppola who can become their first choice keeper.

Bull (1/5):
Sulley Muntari, Milan to Stoke, £6.5m - £7.5m required, plus free ties for life
Gregers (1/5):
Jeremy Toulalan, Malaga to Wigan, £12.5 million - NO - there is no possible reason why a player with Toulalan's pedigree would sign for Wigan. Plus Malaga might have money, but they will get more for him than that.
Marky (1, 2 and 3/5):
Jores Okore, Nordsjaellend to Aston Villa, £5m - YES, PLUS £8M RELEASE FEE TO BIGGER CLUB
Joseph Yobo, Fenerbahce to Aston Villa, £5m - YES
Mateo Musacchio, Villareal to Aston Villa, £5m - NO - he'd have better offers elsewhere

CF (1/5):
Kevin Strootman, PSV to Swansea, £14m - NO - PSV are fighting for the title, and he'd be after a move to a much bigger club.
Trebs (1, 2, 3 and 4/5):
Martin Caceres, Juventus to Fulham, £7.5m - NO - he's played for much bigger teams in the past and is part of a successful Juventus side, and making no noises about wanting to leave. He also plays CB for Juve when I've seen him.
Heiko Westermann, Hamburg to Fulham, £4m - NOT RIGHT NOW - Hamburg are embroiled in a tense and very close race for European places, and it makes no sense for them to sell their best defender (and for so little too).
Michael Dawson, Tottenham to Fulham, £5m - NO - first choice CB under AVB. Has been publicly praised by him too.
Jean Francois Gillet, Torino to Fulham, £1.5m - £2.5m required
Nando (1/5):
Lee Chung-Yong, Bolton to Southampton, £3m - £4m required

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Mikel San Jose - £5m
Bilbao to Fulham
After a good season for Bilbao previously, this season has been poor for them and they have no hope of qualifying for Europe and crashed out of the group stages of the Europa League. With the likes of Amorebieta, Llorente and Susaeta all looking like leaving and Javi Martinez signing for Bayern. Bilbao are a mess at the moment and we want to offer the defender an escape.

Mikel San Jose - 5.5m
With the basque side struggling in the league and with money that was promised yet to be shown a dejected San Jose wants out and would prefer to move to West Brom with Laporte and El Dios the big pull for the player

no longer a regular at Juventus, however he is very useful upfront or just behind the striker. At the age of 30 he wont get many opportunities to have a crack at the prem, and we are offering him guaranteed first team football.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Mikel San Jose to Fulham (£5m) - No, Mikel turned down a move to Spurs last summer stating he's happy to remain in Bilbao. No evidence that this has changed.
Quagliarella to Swansea (£12m) - No, he is still used by Juventus even in squad rotation, but with Llorente and possibly others arriving in the summer, worth trying again then.
Alex to Swansea (£3.5m) - No, while Real Madrid would probably take the money, it's unlikely Alex Fernandez would want to leave the Bernabeu for Swansea, as he loves the club and has actually made a first team appearance this season (in the Copa Del Rey).
Ignored El Dios since hes left

Marc Muniesa
1m loan
Plays for Barca B but we feel he would get better game development in the premier league and then possible move on to Barcalona.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Tasci + Molinaro - £12m
Stuttgart aren't going anywhere and we want to sign these two defenders to be first teamers to help us try to push on to win the league. Arthur Boka has played just as much as Molinaro this season so they have a ready made replacement within the club and Tasci is a big fish in a small pond and is capable of so much more than his current side.
Sigurdsson - £6.8m
He has only started eight Premier League games this season and with Bale increasingly playing in a central role and Holtby's recent arrival his opportunities at the club look limited. He will get much more game time here and we will reimburse the fee paid for him.
Matheiu - £6m
Due to Cissokho's arrival this season Matheiu has only played six games this season. We will give him first team football at Fulham.

Owen Hargreaves
£0 - Free Agent
Rumored to have had a number of trials over the summer and has remained training with QPR using their facilities, Owen still at the age of 32 has pleny to offer providing he can regain his sharpness and match fitness. Reading are willing to take a chance & provide a life-line to Hargraves on a contact until the end of the season.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Sunderland bids:
1. Jose Antonio Reyes, Sevilla to Sunderland, £6.5m
Reason: Sevilla are not competing this season, and have money troubles that nearly led them to sell their star man Alvaro Negredo. Reyes would fit straight into out team, give us an edge going forwards, and give him a chance to succeed where he failed for Arsenal.
2. Alessandro Nesta, Montreal Impact to Sunderland, £750k
Reason: One final chance to pay in a big league, in a team that is performing well. MLS teams aren't rich, so getting £750k in the bank for a 36yo would help them out enormously.
3. Carlo Cudicini, Los Angeles Galaxy to Sunderland, £500k
Reason: Again, one last chance at the Premier League, he'd be the backup keeper to Mignolet so one injury and he's back in the big time.
4. Piotr Trochowski, Sevilla to Sunderland, £3m
Reason: Sevilla are having a mediocre season, and what better way to have a clear out in preparation for next season than by getting £3m for a player they signed on a free. Trochowski hasn't been his usual effective self in Spain, and we feel that the Premier League is much better suited to his style of play. We'd offer him first team football in a good side, with more chances to win silverware than at Sevilla.
5. Carl Jenkinson, Arsenal to Sunderland, £8.5m
Reason: He's been in and out of the Arsenal team this season, and is firmly the #2 behind Sagna. We offer Arsenal a big sum for him, reflecting the effort they've gone to develop him, but also tempting Arsenal as they know he's not going to get any better by playing reserve team football. Jenkinson would be our first choice RB, and get the chance to contribute to a good footballing team with the chance of silverware as well.

1) Ramsay - Arsenal to Wigan
Loan fee - £5 million
Future fee of £7.5 million
Ramsay gets a starting place in the centre of the park which is where he longs to play, Arsenal get him off their wage bill as he isn't good enough for them. Win, win for everyone.
2) Alex Song - Barcelona to Wigan
Loan fee - £10 million
Future fee of a further £5 million
Song doesn't play at Barce = Fact. Song wants to leave Barce = Fact. Song wants to return to the Prem = Fact. Arsenal don't want him back = Fact. At Wigan he will be our captain fantastic and we won't stand in the way if and when a bigger team comes in for him

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
TP 1:
Frank Lampard
Chelsea to Swansea
£5m
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/frank-lampard/profil/spieler_3163.html
Chelsea are yet to offer Lamps a new contract, and he is still easily good enough for the prem .Offering him first team football and the captaincy at a side that are on the up and offering stability management wise.
TP 2:
Daniele Gastaldello
Sampdoria to Swansea
£5.5m
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/daniele-gastaldello/profil/spieler_7096.html
Talented Italian centre back who can seal a big move to a good premier league club...Obviously a step up in club and at the age of 29 may not get another offer from a premier league club..also £5,5m gives them a good amount of money to sign someone else..
