Henson is playing again!
Henson returned from injury for London Welsh yesterday, coming on in the 51st minute (I got this info from the report of the match on the London Welsh website).
Hopefully, he can be invited to train with the Wales squad and show the likes of JD and Roberts how to pass the ball (and maybe work a bit on defence, vision, and kicking too)

Hmm they did ship 3 converted tries and 4 penalties after he came on, to the Dragons reserve team.
Personally id be looking at some of those players who trotted out for Scarlets and Dragons who both had huge wins at the weekends and getting them in to give a motivational speech if not play. Both teams turned deficits into massive wins, albeit in the BS cup.

Some of the Scarlets play late on in the first half was v good. The young scrum half looked good -- looks like he has a quick pass!
As for Wales, the current team (including the coaching team) has to change. It clearly isn't working. The team is unbalanced and the playing philosophy has to change. To help with the latter, you need more players with creativity and basic skills.

What's that noise?
It's the sound of me Not Caring.
Actually, they could do a lot worse than throw him back into the Welsh squad, if only to remind JD and Roberts that they still have competition.

Surely that would be reminding them that they dont have competition?

Re: Henson is playing again!
Only us welsh could take a player as good as Roberts with unbelievable potential and turn him into a battering ram to run at set defences on his own, with no other options beside him.
And then complain about him being said battering ram with no other purpose.
Henson, pffft.

To be fair, the person who decided to use Roberts as a one way ticket to early retirement was a Kiwi... Mr Gatland!!!!

Henson has been named on the bench again against Leics today:

Let's hope he can get a run of games without injury.

There's an element of truth in that Peter, that I do believe some of the Dragons players should be in the Welsh squad over other players. Look what happened with Coombs on his debut and not many bar a few Dragons supporters gave him a chance before last week. The fact will always remain though, that if you're a young talent at Dragons, you're probably going to have to Go West to get called up.
I hear Henson was understanably rusty last weekend and was missing touch from kicks etc.

He was poor today after coming on with about 20 mins to go.

LondonTiger, Thanks for the info. At least he got on the field and hopefully wasn't injured. He needs a run of games without injury.

No he wasn't injured. He did look like a man who was trying to force it too much. Tigers went down to 14 men just after he came on - and LW had chances - but Henson was putting too much weight on his passing. He looked physically fit I must admit - but did miss one tackle when Anthony Allen ran through him - and was sleeping at the end when Bowden scored Tigers 3rd try.

Henson is bound to be rusty. Was a sub for about 35 mins last week and only 20 mins this week. Needs some starts and plenty of games.
