GSC, no. I agree Hart is a good young player. World class no. Hes over hyped imo. For England hes the best player in his position and the best to come along in that position for a while. Add that to the fact hes English equates to being over hyped. The media will big him up & because people in this country are like sheep they will follow what the media says.
There is an endless list of England players who are "World Class".

I truly feel hes a great keeper. World Class no. But he could still become it.
As Viva said, Hart will make mistakes & there quick to be brushed aside or ignored. De Gea is constantly getting stick for what? Some mistakes but his saves + positives & occasion where he has kept Man United in the match are just ignored by the media/people.
I just think its the English media wanting to put down a foreign player so we can make a claim the best keeper in the Prem is English, lets face it there no other position where the best player is English & its the English league.
Spain, Germany & Italy, best players in the league & positions are mainly from the same country. Premier League cant make the same claim.

Hart takes a lot of flack on twitter. As does De Gea

For me both will be in the Top 5 GK's (barring injuries) in 3-5 years time

Fair enough. Well both of them are in good positions to make progress. Up to them if they step up.

Spain, Germany & Italy, best players in the league & positions are mainly from the same country. Premier League cant make the same claim.
If you actually think about that claim I made, pick a position & then a player from each 4 top leagues my claim becomes stronger & stroner thus supporting it being correct

Zebs there isn't an endless list of 'world class' England players - I think there are three. Hart, Wilshere, Rooney.

By 'world class' I mean players I would expect to be able to walk into any national team. I think all three of those would get into Spain's team, on ability. And definitely any other team.

De Gea's mistakes are picked up on by the media because it's become a story. I feel sorry for the kid. But even if you go back to when united bought him, I thought he was the wrong purchase for your club - especially at that price. I'd cut my losses and buy Asmir Begovic myself.

I think he is world class, but I don't think he's get in the Spain team ahead of Alba. Every other team he would though.

Shame that Cole won't be around for another 4-5 years, just as we really need him too!

We have more than ample cover in Baines. Then coming through we have Gibbs and Shaw. We're pretty sorted at LB.

To be fair we're good at both FB positions actually
Left Back
Debatable. Very debatable. I wouldn't consider Cole world class now.
In Spain, neither of the best two players are Spanish.
Two best in the league no. But look as positions like I said. best keeper is same nationality, Iker Casillas. Feel free to continue to do each position. There is defo much more than the Premier League & more clear cut unlike Hart & Cole which are both debatable.

My point was all other top leagues in Europe have more players from the nation of the league as the best player in their position in the league.

Baines should be in that side ahead of Cole atm. He has been the better LB for at least 18 months. After Cole has been given the 100 cap gesture tonight, I fully expect him to be backup to Baines

Ask any Everton fan, Fellaini we would be loath to lose but he is replacable and we would sooner lose him to keep Baines.

Cole doesn't offer the attacking game anymore, but he's still a quality defender. Plus he's been on of England's only consistent performers on the big stage.

Baines offers the attacking, and set pieces and his defending has improved a lot.

If Baines is the best LB in the prem we have one position where home nationality is the best.

Ill get cussed for this but Evra cant be ignored this season. Defending stilla bit dodgy but his attacking exploits!

He rarely makes mistakes for us anymore and is a quality defender too. For England he has had his iffy moments, but if he keeps getting a run in the side, he will be more confident in his place and he will bring to England what he brings to Everton

I've not been impressed with Baines in an England shirt. The team play a different way to what he's used to, and I can't see him being as effective either. I think Cole suits England far more than Baines.

Its not really. I think hes done better this season than last. Aaron Lennon is the only one who really F'ed him up this season.
Evra is 3 goals being Baines & level on assists. Stats are not far off so suppose rest is judged off personal opinion which makes it no clearer.

I agree on the point he rarely makes mistakes (although he got away with trying to play Weimann onside at weekend when should have tracked him) but I haven't seen him do it in an England shirt enough.

I'm sure he'll get a shot. He's been the best LB in the land this season by far

I remember him being decidedly shocking at Carra Rd as well.

He took a decent run of games for us before he really settled, but once he did, that was when he flourished.

I am confident that is all it needs for England too.

I nearly put about the weekend being his first poor game for a while. He left Heitinga a bit exposed at times on the weekend as he is so used to Distin behind him, who has the pace to cover the gaps

There was one point earlier in the season where he had the joint highest number of chances on goal created in all of the major European leagues (can't remember who joint with)

Probably someone like Leon Britton, knowing 'stats' as I do...

Zebs - Baines would be great for United, but again, I think his style is wrong for you. You'd be better off nabbing Luke Shaw off of Southampton now, and training him up from scratch.

That's blatantly untrue Viva. Begovic has been one of the most solid keepers in the Premier League the last three seasons. Better than De Gea, Reina, Sczeczszczczny, Krul, Vorm, all those others. And there's a good reason for him being linked to United, it's that he's better than what you currently have.

United shouldn't sign Begovic, you're right. They should sell De Gea and buy a proper keeper, someone like Hugo Lloris/Manuel Neuer, who is a proven international goalie of renown and worth the big transfer fee.

That's blatantly untrue Viva. Begovic has been one of the most solid keepers in the Premier League the last three seasons. Better than De Gea, Reina, Sczeczszczczny, Krul, Vormll those others. And there's a good reason for him being linked to United, it's that he's better than what you currently have.

No this isn't a Viva made fackt its from ESPN, he has made the most mistakes which cost his side. United are linked with many other players dont mean they better then what they have.

Azzy when are City going to hit top form and cruise to the title? You're very confident in your Unitrd bashing fancy a bet?

United win the title you owe me £50 if city win the title I owe you £50? An if the loser don't pay up he gets banned from v2 for life and his alias
