Price's amateur career and more mature performances have him edging experiance

Uppercut goes towards Price (unless we count uppercutting yourself) and defence, heart probably goes to Fury as he has had to dig down more in his career and has been down apart from that it sounds about right

He wouldn't need to. This fight doesn't go 5. They both want to KO the other, and refardless of who you prefer, they're both chinny if you believe everyone on here. Someone is staying down in this fight.

(Fury in my book in case anyone is interested)... boxing

Only if the result is "Fury KO Fury (via self inflicted uppercut)"

Price hammers Fury before halfway

What would we do without Fury and Price. They really are the thread spinners. It's like Hatton and Witter all over again. Long may their avoidance of each other, while they both step up in class continue.

He's really trimmed up lately. There was a pic of him on Twitter over Xmas and he's very lean now with no unwanted fat. Unbelievable from a few years back!

I can't go on Twitter (not that I'd want to! Oof!) so apologies if this pic is the same. It was on Boxnation.

Spoiler:

There's something not right and I'm not sure what it is. I can't work out if his head's too small or his arms are too long. Maybe his nipples are too far apart. Dunno, but something looks off.

Why is Fury getting "9's" TRUSS?

Is that default?

Id say the majority of his scores are less than 4.

But on a 15 round basis, Price wipes every score.

He is sooo much better IMO. He will outclass and knockout the gypo in 6 rounds. Im sure of it.

He's still mooby. Although he has the beginnings of a 4 pack on his upper abs he still has a way to go.

I'd still class him a a fatty. And his pout is disgraceful.

He shouldn't.

I marked Price down for stamina because it's unproven, and for the same reason, I should have marked him down for heart.

10-9 Fury

So by me that makes it 145-145.

If a fight could be won by scoring attributes 10-9 then if they fought tomorrow, Fury takes it on work rate and stamina.

It might be fairer to score the attributes 10-8 or even 10-7?

My view, and I've scored them out of 10.

Fury Price

Experience 6 5
Power 4 9
Opposition 6 5
Jab 4 7
Right cross 5 9
Left hook 3 9
Uppercut 0 6
Stamina 7 4
Defence 5 5
Heart 7 4
speed 3 7
Ring generalship 1 5
Versatility 6 2
Footwork 1 4
Durability 5 4

Fury gets 63

Price gets 85

Out of 150. I was honest. I marked Price down for areas he's untested, and i marked Fury down for his awful hardly there ability.

Post by TopHat24/7 Mon 11 Feb 2013, 2:03 pm

On the basis that even using a 10 point must system allows for 10-8 is especially dominant rounds, I've scored as follows:

Fury Price

Experience 10 10 (about level, Fury maybe nudges it but has had 5 more fights therefore balancing things out. If not Price’s amateur pedigree certainly does)
Power 8 10 (for a HW Fury’s power is almost mediocre, mainly down to poor technique, Price’s on the other hand is devastating)
Opposition 10 10 (see ‘Experience’ above)
Jab 9 10 (Fury seems more adept at using his jab as a defensive shield to keep fighters at range, but Price’s is more of a weapon to set up that big right)
Right cross 8 10 (Price’s is an absolute peach, Fury’s is in line with his other punches)
Left hook 10 10
Uppercut 10 10
Stamina 10 10 (Fury has put in a lot more rounds but Price always looks in better shape, so I’m tempted to say level right now)
Defence 9 10 (Fury’s been dropped, Price has barely been troubled bar 30 secs against a guy he flattened 3 mins later)
Heart 10 9 (we know Fury can come back from adversity, question marks over Price given Camarelle)
Speed 10 10 (could even give this to Fury, I think his handspeed is one of his greatest assets, but something always looks a little ponderous about him)
Ring generalship 9 10 (Price is a General where Fury is more Captain/Major)
Versatility 9 10 (I refuse to award Fury versatility points for that ridiculous south-paw fight, and Price’s shot selection is better)
Footwork 9 9 (both not great, Fury ponderous and that ‘shuffle’ was ridiculous, but Price looks flat footed at times)
Durability 10 9 (see Heart above)

Price 147-140 Fury

I think you need to cut him some slack, 15 fights in for most other pro careers don't exactly read any better. Plus the guy he is fighting next was deemed worthy enough of a title shot 6 months ago whether you like it or not.

Price would never in his wildest dreams be capable of being in Haye's league when it comes to being a lying douche bag.

Price needs to step it up, he's getting zero experience. Maybe his management are afraid of the elephant in the room...........

Arreola, Chagaev, Peters, Povetkin, Solis, Sosnowski, Chambers, Helenius, Dimitrenko etc etc...........there's plenty of winnable fights out their that will gain Price experience.

Then there's those American great hopes Seth Mitchell and Deontay Wilder. Maybe he should win the Euro belt first before looking at the yanks.

There's plenty of fights out there for Price when he feels he's "ready".

When you say "glass jaw" are you referring to the iron chinned Skelton who had only been knocked out twice in 27 fights when he stepped in with Price?

The guy had hardly been wobbled in any fights what so ever and was very well known for being a tough nut to crack.

Was knocked out by Pulev and Rogan (poor).

Price hammered him in less time.

Sexton has also got a stern chin. Was only every stopped by Chisora (on his feet, never knocked down clean on his backside). Chisora at that time was touted for great things as well with a K Bro shot coming up.

Price had him down 3 or 4 times and did it in devasting fashion.

I wouldnt say EVERYBODY he has fought has just a pulse and glass chin, as i have just pointed out.

I take it you love Tyson Fury? King of the World?

There's plenty of fights out there for Price when he feels he's "ready"
.

Errrr what about Fury then? Has not won the Euro Belt and is stating that he beat the greatest heavyweight in American boxing - Kingpin Johnson?

He was decked by a bartender in Prajik and was out on his feet early on against Derek Chisora who clearly had no motivation at all judging by his pathetic weigh in.

Purse bids were submitted for the Price vs Fury fight which Fury ran a mile from........after he stated he would batter price anywhere and anytime. Liar.

Fury is a joke and its proven with him avoiding Price, Klitchkos and Povetkin.

So now he will fight some bum and claim that their the greatest and better than anything.
