cm punk possibly injured
http://www.twnpnews.com/2013/02/cm-punk-shaken-up-at-wwe-event-rhodes-scholars-reunited/
Correspondents at Saturday’s WWE Raw live event in Springfield, Missouri sent word that CM Punk was shaken up during his match against The Miz. Apparently The Miz botched a stalling suplex on Punk, causing him to land awkwardly on his head. Officials checked Punk for several minutes but eventually Punk went on to continue the match.

TBH it'd get just as many views by stating Punk was injured.

There's rumours doing the rounds that Miz v Punk may be on the cards soon as a feud too.

Know your role SJH! Miz v Punk? Quite the step down from his other rumoured feud against Lesnar. Miz hasn't had enough of a push since turning face to merit that feud, as much as you'd love it Hero

Oh I'm so chuffed they plan to step Miz back up to the main event scene again, he's such an amazing face in his current role and I don't wish at all to see someone accidentally hit him repeatedly in his mush with a blunt object.

Re: cm punk possibly injured
Miz v Punk is quite possibly the worst match up for Punk at Mania and is the equivalent of Man U competing in the Europa League compared to the Champion's League. Miz is no where near as relevant or as talented to be feuding with Punk - Punk needs to solidify his position as No.1 heel and main eventer in the company.

Not good enough a feud for Punk for 'Mania. Otherwise fine. I like Miz and think he has more about him than a lot of the faces on the roster, it just won't work as an interesting feud quite yet, especially not to 'Mania standards

Yep i have no complaints with a punk vs miz feud, but at wrestle mania no simply no. Punk deserves a lot better.

Would this suggest that Undertaker has withdrawn from WM this year? if their lining up a Punk/Miz fued?

Or Punk Vs Miz is for after WM as Taker won't be continuing after the event and Punk will need something to do

Well after being attacked by Lesnar and him heading off to HHH would suggest Punk deals with Miz? Since he's the other "Heyman" guy

If they hit CM Punk with The Miz for WrestleMania they may as well go the whole hog and put the US Title on the line too

Re: cm punk possibly injured
I wonder if Miz shouted brain bustaaaaahhhhh when he botched the suplex, his botch catching of R-Truth that time was much more spectacular. If they are going to have a wrestlemania match Miz should win in under 18 seconds to prove his dominance.
The Miz is without a doubt the greatest wrestler alive a combination of Rock, Austin, HBK and Savage. A must see superstar.
By now you realise I'm being sarcastic...

To be fair to the Miz he's a better heel as a face than he was as a heel.

Re: cm punk possibly injured
Apparently there is genuine heat between Punk and Miz so i dont think this will do anything to ease that!
Don't expect a Punk/Miz fued just because they wrestled at a house show though. Punk has been wrestling Ryback at house shows over the whole period of his fued with Rock.
On another note, The Undertaker was photographed at an NHL game in Nashville yesterday. Raw tonight is also in Nashville. Read into that what you will....

Re: cm punk possibly injured
- Courtesy of Dan Jones and Prowrestling.net, here is a detailed account of the incident over the weekend where The Miz looked to injure CM Punk in a tag match:
"Ryback did a spot where he put Antonio Cesaro in a classic Davey Boy Smith elongated vertical suplex. He probably had him up for a good twenty seconds before punk rushed into the ring with a double axe handle to break it up, but The Miz stopped him with a kick to the gut and put Punk up in an elongated vertical suplex of his own. This was an obvious pre mediated spot and looked really cool.
Ryback ended up holding Cesaro up there for a good 45 seconds whereas Miz only had Punk up for maybe 10 seconds or so. When they went to finish their suplexes in unison, Ryback properly fell backward and put Cesaro on his back in a normal, safe fashion, whereas The Miz literally dropped Punk straight down on his neck in a true, straight up brainbuster. I came out of my seat and in disbelief "you dropped him on his neck! What the f---?!"
Punk immediately rolled to the floor and the WWE trainer (looking concerned) immediately ran over to him to check on him. Punk was down on the floor for several minutes before slowly getting back up and making his way back up onto the apron in his corner where he spent the next five minutes red-faced with his arms hanging and resting on the top rope and constantly shaking his right hand and stretching it open and closed.
Up until that point in the match Punk had been very involved both verbally and physically, but during those five minutes on the apron he frankly looked out of it. My opinion is that he may have suffered what is commonly called a 'stinger.' To punk's credit, he did tag back in and eventually found himself in the ring with The Miz. They ended up outside the ring and Punk gave Miz a shin kick to the ribs that could be heard in the parking lot followed by a few stiff forearms to the head before rolling Miz back inside the ring.
Punk probably worked 2-3 minutes after that and Ryback ended the match with his finish on Cesaro. Punk quietly and slowly walked to the back, immediately holding the back of his neck the entire way and never looked back or played to the crowd.
This may be of some note as well. My fiance and I braved the wind and rain to stand outside after the event where the wrestler's came out to leave. Aside from Punk's bus, The Miz (with two other guys who didn't appear to be wrestlers, though one could have possible been Alex Riley as he is a fairly 'normal' looking guy) walked out to his car. He had parked very high on the ramp and was within 10 feet of us and he looked very down and out. Honestly, I didn't put two and two together at the time but I assume he got an earful from Punk and others. Miz looked like a scolded puppy as he put his gear bag in the back of his crossover. I said, "Hey, Miz, good match tonight." He said "Thank you, thanks a lot guys," but even his words were noticeably depressed."
