From BBC Sport:

Celtic midfielder Kris Commons claims team-mate Efe Ambrose has to take responsibility for his performance in Tuesday night's 3-0 defeat by Juventus.

Ambrose gifted Alessandro Matri an early goal, missed Celtic's best chance of the night when he sent a free header straight at Gianluigi Buffon from six yards, and then lost possession to allow Mirko Vucinic to claim a late third and virtually send Juventus into the Champions League quarter-finals.

Commons says: "The manager pulled him to one side and asked him if he was feeling okay. He said he was feeling brilliant. If he wasn't feeling okay then he should have said so. If he felt good then he should have put in a better performance."
If I was Neil Lennon I'd be putting Commons in the reserves for a month. What a disgraceful comment to make on the back of last night's game.

That's harsh.

Maybe Efe could mention that Commons wasted chances to shoot by firing straight at Buffon time and again?

I was impressed with the other Celtic CB, what was his name? I forget, but he was quick for a big lad.

Let's face it, Ambrose made two colossal mistakes on the Matri goal - first to let Matri get goal side of him, and second to watch Wilson clear the ball off the line and just stand there while Marchisio stuck the ball in the net (although the second one didn't actually matter).

But to come out and criticise a team mate like that? I'd drop him for a month, including the return game at Juve. Disgusting behaviour.

As Azzy said, Ambrose did make a huge mistake. CL knockout stages are a high level of football, mistakes like that below in a league where you don't have any competition Whistle

Bad of Commons to publicly say that about his team mate tho.

Agree Olly, Forster being hyped as a rival to Joe Hart for England is proving to be unfounded.

Shame Ruddy got injured. He was in top form and really developing as a goalkeeper. Easily would have established himself as the number 2.

Hopefully he comes back just as good Smile

Is he due back at all this season Olly?

Might be back around April time I think. The injury was a lot worse than it looked. Had to have surgery, I believe he tore the muscle right off the bone! Ouch

He's developing into a top GK, and with Dave Watson the England GK coach on board here, he is getting the best coaching in the business. And it showed at the start of the season!

Willing to sell Toulalan Treb's, but would be looking for an offer equivalent to his lawyers value. Either £16m cash or £13.8m + Kehl

I like Boateng, but he's like a slimmer version of Adel Taarabt. Just when you think he's going to come good, he never quite gets there. Capable of great skill though.

Arbeloa and Rafael is a debateable call.
Would personally make space for Modric in my side too, but he doesn't seem in favour over there.

I detect a slight United bias in that team Trebs Laugh

Ramos is immense, I can't believe people wouldn't have him in their team.

Mine would be close to Zinedine's, except I would definately find a space for Ozil. Probably ahead of Rooney or Valencia. The guy has improved so much since he went to Madrid and if United focus too much on Ronaldo, then Ozil is going to kill you
