They seem to feel the ref made two mistakes that cost them though. Jones fouling Di Maria in the box (it was a little rough in truth) and the corner being incorrectly awarded. No mention of Evra being taken down though.

That was never a foul by Jones on Di Maria. You can't punish Jones for simply being stronger in a shoulder to shoulder with Di Maria for gods sake

Shoulder to shoulder implies he only used his shoulder to brush him off.

He didn't, he extended the full arm to push him away. If he had given it, I would have seen why.

I would have cried if that was given as a penalty. It's bad enough they give a foul everytime a CB and the forward go up for a header

I wouldn't have given it either, but I'm surprised a continental ref didn't, because it was a lot of contact.

Yes, mine's a hybrid La Liga-Bundesliga team. No need for different squads, I'd rather have one great squad than 3/4 lesser squads.

Another stolen joke....

A lot of people are feeling sorry for Oscar Pistorius, but I don't think he has a leg to stand on

Not actually sure whether it was meant as a joke at the time he said it mind...

Liverpool say they have major concerns about their players being racially abused.

Unfortunately Suarez is just too good to leave at home.

I feel like there are about 15 or 16 players that are challenging for a starting spot.

However, I also see that all 12 teams have real clear weak areas to me that means tactics will be vital and both leagues could be really competitive in manager's get their tactics right.

For those who haven't voted, could you please do so?

https://www.606v2.com/t40582-should-we-have-seperate-competitions-for-those-going-out-at-the-cup-group-stage

It's at a critical stage of voting and one side is close to a majority so we need at least a couple more votes out of the remaining 5 who haven't yet.
