Season 2 begins this week with tactics for the first game due by 11.59 on Friday 15th February

PLEASE NOTE - this season you will receive a 1 point deduction if you do not submit tactics (as well as a default loss) and a 1 point deduction if you do not vote. If you know in advance you are unable to do either, then you must state so on the Holidays/Days Off page, to avoid the penalties.

First half wasnt bad, few chances here & there. I was annoyed we wernt leading at the break.
Nani looked up for it when he came on & heck was he. He showed what he still & can offer. Consistency has always been his problem IMO.

I think Wilshere will come out on top, he is the better player after all. I think Kroos has two years to win a Balloon Door else Wilshere will always be better than him.

Kroos is twice the player of Wilshere, but then he is better than Scholes too, who is supposedly the greatest English player ever.

I'll be surprised if Robben starts tonight. He is still coming back to fitness and I expect him to be on the bench and used as an impact sub against this Arsenal defence

I bought an IF Walcott for 145k and sold it for 170k went and bought Emeli Sande Jr (Neymar) with it still got 35k+ in the bank

Stats tell you a lot. Although all of those games without conceding were domestic games only.

Bayern beat Wolfsburg 2 nil last friday, Robben came on & scored. They also havent conceded a goal in 2013

True, but 6 games, 15 odd goals and none conceded is still good form in any competition, let alone a league as strong as Germany

Brescia too strong in this one. I think Viva has a good base but he needs to bring some players in to really compete in the top league. There doesn't seem to be the spark from the midfield. I do think they set up well to frustrate Brescia though, and I can see a goal midway through the second half nicking it for UB.

Under Brescia were just too strong for Pass the Deutschie. Gibbs & Shawcross were targets & Robben did a number on them. Pass the Deutschie struggled to get going, Sterling & Draxler were ineffective, Cole easily handled Sterling, De Sciglio isnt the most experienced but with Barzagli sweeping, Marchisio getting around the pitch Draxler was unable to produce. Likewise for Holtby. Huntelaar didnt get the service he needs. Robben tormented Gibbs & Shawcross, Gibbs has the pace to keep up but couldnt handle Robbens tricky nature, its all good to show him outside but with his ability to take a man on & work onto his favoured left foot doubling up on him would of proved more effective.

Deutschie are good but today i thionk they got out played, for Brescxia the midfield is stronger and won most battles and the wingers caused havoc, dont think shawcross is good enough , Deutiche have some great young players and a great striekr just needs somemore peices to the puzzle.

A very close game but Brescia's class eventually shows leading them to victory, Owning the midfield of the park, Viva needs a new forward for me Huntelaar majorally out of form at the moment

its a mismatch out wide for Under Brescia and they take advantage of this. Didnt feel Deutschie did enough to trouble UB despite no holding midfielder for them.

Tough to call this one, but I think la Chorizo will sneak it by the thinnest margin. I just feel with the width they have and with a relatively narrow set up from BM that they will make hay on the wings eventually. A deeper line may also afford Isco more space to dictate the tempo which is a dangerous game.

Entertaining first game of the season. Mannschaft just edge the victory today. Well organised & a strong midfield carried them to the win. Mannschaft decided where & most importantly when to exploit gaps. Pato was a nuisance, Puyol & Varane arent the quickest & Pato took advantage to open the scoring. A quick counter attack down the left flank by Gaitan & Schmelzer who took advantage of an out of position Azpliceuta, the latter finding Boateng at the far post. La Chorizo mounted a fightback, Ménez pick pocketed Schmelzer & was too quick fro Cahill to get across. Belhanda introduction on the wing gave La Chorizo less width, unbalanced the structure & was not the best move when they were on the road to a comeback. Hes has proved he can operate on the wing, just not the left wing or as effective.

Even game ends in draw, thought tello had sucesson his side and switchign around caused havoc, however, manzukic get a goal,

Couldn't seperate the sides both set up tactically to stop the others playing ending in a dull game like Norwich/Fulham

Both teams have strong attacks and defenses that could be got at. I like Mannschaft to win the midfield, and Pato/Manzukic to find success vs Putol and Varane, however Chorizos firepower cant be ignored

Firstly I don't think Gerrard is best on the wing, but the overall formation is bold and interesting. I like a draw in this one, because of the partnerships running through the spine of Marky's team; Berba and Villa is excellent, and I can imagine Berbs teasing balls to Villa all game. No Respek are dangerous in attack, particularly on the left and I reckon a 2-2 draw is fair.

Shock defeat for No Respek today. Strange choice of formation led to the downfall of No Respek. Gerrard played as an RM & Baines played as a LWB...?As good as Gerrard can be he doesn't play to his best on the right. Baines however relished the chance to get forward at every opportunity which resulted in him staying forward at times & then having to chase back a lot. Eriksen & Ben Arfa both having free roles did not work, with them & Ba running making his runs left, right & center I think they confused each other more then Dos Cervezas defenders, at times there was no one in the box, no one to aim for & too much distance between them. Cabaye & Dembele grafted well & were an impressive partnership. When Dos Cervezas attacked, Navas & Costa had too much space with no designated fullbacks. With Chiellini man marking & Bonucci sitting deeper, Parker & Montolivo tied up with Cabaye & Dembele, Berbatov playing behind Villa allowed him room to operate. No Respek's setup did not work well at all, lacked a rigid structure & organisation which is required against top teams.

dont like gerrad wide and neverhave, hegets beaten alot and thatcraetes chanvcesdown the left, also baines is caught forward alot and wingsare exposed, centrellyNo Respek are sound but danger outwide leads to a couple of goals, Favor going forward the front 3 are danourous and create chances, they suppor don the wings and genreallay ahve the better of play but egtting caught outwide lsoes them 2 points

I believe Azzy has made a mistake playing Gerrard out wide especially when he has the likes of Ben Arfa in his side, I believe Costa would be able to take advantage of this and be a game winner for Marky's side

Dos is a bit too gung ho for me, and I like No Respek to be solid at the back, and with their attacking resources to nick a goal and hold onto it.

Spanish Bank v Atalanta Falcons

A closer match than the scoreline suggests but with verratti pulling the strings I cant see the Banks midfield managing to stay in it. Falcons could do with an improvement over Gago and Bank have already strengthened from this line up. Reus against Clyne can only go one way and that finishes off Bank.

Two very strong sides, but I feel the strong defence of Spanish Bank holds off the Falcons' front three, the wingbacks create chances and Aspas and Benteke are on fire at the moment. Falcons' 4-3-2-1 works on occasion but is too narrow today against the Spanish Bank wingbacks and it leaves space for Jordi Alba to cause problems.

Spanish Bank are set up very well defensively, and it was hard for Atalanta to break them down. Arteta controlled the midfield, allowing Pogba to get forward to support Aspas and Benteke, who was too good for the CBs. The game was won from out wide, where Clyne and Alba had great success getting past their men and crossing the ball. Atalanta will score plenty of goals this season but against a team so well set up they struggled to get out of the gates.

Strong performance by Falcons the midfield were too strong for Spanish who couldn't then get the wing backs into the game.

The Bankers had the right idea today and got a hard earned point. They did well to ensure the likes of Reus and Hernanes had no space to work. Atlanta could do with a good goalie as Romero fancied being a crap goalie today

A good tactical performance from the Spanish Bank manager and I think they have a better team than he gives himself credit for. They were solid and threatened on the counter attack. However, Atalanta were equally well set-up and had the defence to cope with the pace of the Bankers attacks and with the quality of passing in midfield, Atalanta were able to create enough openings to grab the win. In terms of improvements, Spanish Bank need a better RB and probably one more CM to boss the game, ahead of Pogba or Suarez. Atalanta look well balanced, and no one area stood out, so should probably look for individual upgrades on players wherever they can

Fassbender v Moleicester City

No tactics from fassbender against one of the best attacking sides in the league leads to a landslide, Fassbender need tactics and to get a creative midfielder into the side. Moleicester could do with a better pair of fullbacks.

The lack of instructions to the VFL players meant Mole City controlled the game and earned a very comfortable win, I would also argue VFL playing Lallana at LM is a waste of his ability. Mole City have one of the strongest first XI's in the league and the 3 AM's look awesome.

Moleicester had too much quality for Bassender, with the forward four linking up well and Phil Jones doing a number on Strootman. A relatively easy win for a team with some excellent players.

Not much to say, Bassender put in what they deserved the three Spanish attackers of City moved well and opened up Bassender.

No tactical instructions were given to Bassender.

Both have built stronger teams than I realised, but Bassender went out with no instruction from their manager and it showed as Moleicester had a solid gameplan that worked a treat. In terms of improvements, Bassender need to give their players a gameplan in tactics otherwise they are going to get beaten every week. I would also look to improve at LB and on both wings. Moleicester, FBs seem to be the next area for upgrade.

FC Elphick for Justice v FC Murder on Zidane's Floor

Two interesting line ups but the quality of Zidanes team is too much. I love their attacking trio behind Chicarito who fits their system beautifully. For me cherries didn't need to play Lucio and diarra and could have gone with Le Fondre up front as well. As it is they are too defensive which prevents them from getting at cork and marrone.

E4J have a decent side but the back three let them down, Ferdinand should be at CB in command, Nastasic at LCB and Gamberini at RCB in my opinion, this would have made them more balanced. However they were very defensive with 6 defenders starting. Murder were good going forward but couldn't break down E4J, Chicharito can only do so much when surrounded, and it was 7 against 4 in favour of E4J when Murder attacked so I can't see them breaking through.

Elphickforjustice parked the bus, and it worked. Their back 7 were too many for FC Murder to break down, and Lamela and Ayew on the break were a lethal combination against two players being played badly out of position. If FC Murder want to win games they need a much better midfield tandem.

FC very defensive in the set up which allowed Murder to push forward and create attacks higher up the pitch. FC got into the game late and pulled a consultation.

Elphick could have done with some creativity in the middle to creat chances. They also need to sign a top striker. Murder put in a decent performance despite lacking something in midfield and they have a goalkeeper who isn't good enough.

Elphick were a bit hamstrung by their two injuries and it showed. Lucio was probably the least likely option to fill in at DM for me as he just isn’t mobile enough to play there. This made it easy for the high quality that Murder have in attack to cruise the game. Elphick probably need to improve their midfield strength in depth and also their left hand side looks far weaker than the right to me. Murder could do with a bit of upgrade with their deeper CMs and with Mbia

I knew I was up against it when Debuchy got injured, as none of my CBs can play RB and I had no other option for that right side. Best I could come up with was Caulker to cover behind Gerrard from RCB. If I'd have played Ben Arfa there I'd have been creamed.

Aye, that was the point behind not selling Alba. Now I have Piszczek down the other flank also. Need to find some depth tho, my reserves are fairly shocking.

I expected you to just play Wisdom at RB and go from there.

With my starting midfield basically injured I'm not too disappointed with a 1-0 loss
