Promoters that you like!

I noticed in Strongback's 'fighters, promoters, and referees that annoy you' thread that it was all too easy to name promoters. Generally the answer was 'they're all bad but Arum/Warren/King/Shaw/etc stand out'. So, in a reversal, are there any promoters that you have liked or do like?

After watching the super six fight camp 360 series I liked Lou Dibella's style. He seems to actually be smart and educated. Also seems to have a relatively up front style.

Also, I'm digging Eddie Hearn these days. He seems to have a real desire to build boxing in this country.

Eddie Hearn for sure. What he has done has been nothing short of brilliance.

Getting Froch back to back fights against Lucian Bute and Mikkel Kessler in the space of 18 months is massive, especially bringing them to the UK.

I like Golden Boy if im honest. Always keen on great matchmaking and have big fights. There is nothing better than to watch a tear-up at MSG in the early hours in HD with HBO Coverage and GBP involved.

Eddie Hearn appears to have the Midas touch at the minute...the acid test will be whether or not the latest Prizefighter is a decent show even with Audley involved

He has a desire to "run" Boxing in this Country for sure..........

Not sure there is such a thing as a likeable promoter.......

Nope, the art is in screwing them but making them think they're getting a good deal.

Hearn for the high profile work, Dave Caldwell for his local shows.

I thought Barry Hearn was alright when he started out managing Steve Davis. He was also one of the very few to get one over Don King. I think he got out of boxing at one stage because it was a bad racket. Now I think he's as slimy as the rest.

Golden Boy seem the most straight forward of the big guys and don't over protect their fights when they get to world level. They aren't afraid to make the big fights.

Dave Coldwell and Spencer Fearon do a lot for the small hall shows and seem very knowledgable about the sport.

I like that chick that was on Ringside the other week....

When he jumped in the ring prematuraly at the FrochBute fight, yes it highlighted his inexperience as a boxing promoter but it shown the genuine passion he has for the fighters under his promotion.
