Good evening everyone and Happy New Year

Managed to get this on the box

ROG actually has been having an ok game so far, he certainly is not on to tackle or take on 3 or 4 guys. The Munster back row and certainly their engine room are slow around the loose and not providing any platform for the halfbacks

I think you can smell the tension in the air.......... gripping stuff

Poor pass by JJ ruins promising Munster move, should have done better, interesting enough half but Duncan Williams surely cannot stay on the pitch much longer, once again he is hopeless. I remember seeing him years ago and thinking he had so much potential but he has never kicked on and should not have a pro contract at this stage of his career.

Thank you for your kind words. But seriously, Rog is past it and it is sad to see him playing so badly compared to how good he once was. It is 18 months at least since ROG turned in an entirely good performance. His kicking has lost a lot of distance, from the tee and from hand. His kicking in that half, and last weekend against England, is not accurate enough to put Munster on the front foot and is instead inviting the Scarlets back three to counter attack. His passing is no longer as accurate as it once was. He is nearly 36 years old, time has caught up on him, he is playing poorly.

wow Hook just criticised ROG didn't see that coming but then O'Gara he hasn't had a good first half so I guess he is calling what he sees. Munster need to up it here if they are going to win.

"Is he the horse for the course?", "Is he the best option for Munster tonight?"

I agree its actually been Williams best performance for Munster. He setting the centres into space with some angled passes. Still dont think he is great but its harsh to be criticising him tonight

Fly, Keatley would be my first starter for Munster at 10. I get nervous anytime ROG has the ball in mid field. He should retire.

Was that aimed at me? If it was it's a bit uncalled for ain't it and O'Gara has missed 2 shots at goal right I suppose that was Keatley too, please stop sticking up for a guy who is not playing well. I would also point out that I said nothing about kicking. You are clearly a bit dellusional.

O'Callaghan should know better than to argue with the ref there.

Thats so odd from O'Gara despite all criticism etc he has always been a good goal kicker, is it a possibility that he is feeling pressure from the younger guys?

How good he was if of relevance, because it seems to cloud people's opinions on how good he is now.

He is not playing well, look at the difference in how the two backlines are playing, Rog is just shovelling the ball along the Munster line, not threatening any breaks, allowing the Scarlets defense drift across and target the ball receiver. He is not a horse for courses selection because he cannot play to Penney's game plan. Keatley and JJ can.

Williams dithers again putting Munster under lots of pressure.

I think he is. If you look at some of his decision making earlier in the season, taking short drop outs trying to show he can create stuff, and making mistakes by taking the wrong options. He usually always played smartly, but the pressure us making him taking unnecessary risks.

Should put JJ at ten He's the only one who can make something out of nothing. He is being wasted at Munster imo.

In fairness I've heard there were some slight problems with his attitude in the first half of the season, but he is supposed to have got his head right now. He looks decent any time he sees the ball.

The ref is being extremely inconsistent with penalising the defending team for going off their feet, Munster seem to have been penalised every few rucks, but Scarlets are getting away with flopping at every ruck.
