The Swedes were awesome, they used to be cheap too. I remember Hansson, and I had Hakan Mild a couple of times for a pittance.

Hernan Crespo was the man on that game too. 20 for pace, finishing and heading, and he was a goal machine. Like Vieri was, and Morientes. Oddly fat Ronaldo wasn't, and Inter were always rubbish even with a great team.

I remember looking for Rooney on there, and he is in there. His stats were poo though.

Vieri was good. I think that was the game where I had Batistuta at Parma, with Buffon in goal, Cannavaro at the back and a midfield consisting of Swedes. BatiGol was always awesome, I remember back on my 96-97 game I signed him for Rangers aged 40 and he scored something like 60 goals before retiring.

Did anyone else ever sign Diego Maradona? On that 96-97 Champs he wasn't available in most of the leagues, but he was a freebie on the Scottish league. So I signed him for Rangers and played him with Gazza, Laudrup and Jorg Albertz. Goals galore
