I think the Vikings are one of the strongest teams now they drafted RG3. If their defence can hold I reckon they will come out of the SFC and deep into the playoffs.

What has Lampards age got to do with it? Giggs is old yet is still tearing teams up. Look at Lamps recent form.

Kroos, is also fully capable of playing box to box. Now just because you saw him line up against Arsenal as an AM it means he cant play any other position but the fact is he can Marky.

Anyway, Kroos has spent much of his Bayern career playing deeper alongside Schwein or Gustavo, with Robben, Ribery and Muller ahead of them. It is only recently he has been pushed further forward.

Same for Germany where he lines up alongside Khedira with Muller, Ozil and Podolski ahead.

He is a great example of a box to box midfield in my opinion and it is what he does best.

Humm. Well Ive used him upfront with Reus behind him, was playing my mate last night & won all 7 matches we player, with Mandy getting a total 14 goals.

So is the limit £20m now yep?

Dip in form......Olly, to have a dip in form you would have to be in form. Sterling has not been in form all season, he has been "flavor of the month" with some footie fans (mainly Liverpool fans) at best.

Stewart Downing is currently in much better form than Sterling has been at any point this season - no-one is talking about him though. I think people saw Sterling run fast and just labelled him as the next Ronaldo before actually watching what he does, which isn't very much. Run fast, lose ball, run fast, cross to no-one, run fast, wait where the hell am I, oh yeah, pass to...darn, we lost it.

It is £20m, I just haven't updated it yet. Thanks for the reminder.

The boost will be that in 2 weeks it will go up to £21m as there is no point to going to £20.5m I don't think, given the players valuations

Azzy has a point. Lot of people just see a player run fast & BOOM hes good. Walcott has taken 6 seasons at a top prem club just be half decent. All he does i run fast, lose ball, run fast, cross to no-one, run fast, Oh wait im one on one good finish, then rinse & repeat.

Alex OxCube was flavou of the month before. He can run fast too & everyone banged on about him like hes Lucas Biglia!!! The Cube does have better technical promise than Sterling & Walcott did at that age so I consider him a better prospect.
But back to the point, the Run Fast illusion fools a lot of people.

Same reason NFL teams draft players with great measurables and poor instincts. Can coach a player to be a better footballer, can't coach speed.

Oxo Cube won't make the grade, I'm sure of it. He's done nothing for nearly a year now, which at this age is frightening for his prospects.

Sterling was overhyped.

Walcott I still don't rate, but he is getting closer to being the player he was hyped to be as a teenager.

Others have come and gone - Freddy Adu, Stephen Ireland, Jerome Thomas...plenty of kids out there who were the next big thing, but never did the job. And Sterling will be the next one.

While Zaha, on the other hand, will be a huge success

Also, there's no-one at the £21m TM rank that I'd want in my team...we may as well do away with TP limits

Of course one of these prospects we're putting down is currently verging on world class, in Gareth Bale.

Omar Koroma made a sterling debut for Norwich, he had pace and I was like wow he's got something. Unfortunately as far as I know 5 years down the line he's still yet to score a professional goal (striker) and got sent off 33 minutes into his Forest Green debut

Walcott has made me eat my words a little this year by being alright in patches, but I still say he's overhyped and can't actually use his pace on the ball.

Ishmael Miller was one for us. Did well at City as an 18/19 year old, came to us on loan, and on his debut scored one of the best goals in Albion history. Cyrille Regis-esque. We all thought we'd found the new Pele. But now he's struggling to get a game in the Championship.

I never put Bale down, ever. Spurs were stupid to ever play him at LB, if Southampton convert Luke Shaw to LW now he'll have the same career trajectory as Bale I reckon.

Agree. Think he made a poor decision to go to Arsenal. All he had to do was look at the age Walcott joined them & where he is now. There would of been better club to join.
I dont know why you would pick a club who hasnt won a trophy since 2005, can no longer compete for major honors & sells their best players.

GSC, Ronaldo could be yes. You could see with Ronaldo there was a drive & determination. Bale has that too.
I dont see that in the likes of Walcott, Ox or Sterling.
All I see from Walcott is a child in the school play ground moaning because he cant play up front.
