On the screen? Some things were happening up the top in the Forum section

i had things happening on the side of the screen , then the top aswell

Do you have adblocker? I don't see anything.
Occasionally I'll get some weird message after I've done a post but haven't had one for a while.

i think the admin team were having a little play about trying a few things out

Yeah, we are sort of like guinea pigs sometimes.

it was a little distracting for awhile

I did a report but apart from that it has been quiet on here... except maybe the rugby section.

i'd imagine the rugby section will get quite " interesting " now

Yes, I'm kind of dreading it. Really does my head in... it never ends!

I shall stay well clear i think . My sb picks are terrible aswell as i aren't really paying much attention to Union for some reason ...mind you my other picks sport wise aren't much better

I'm out of control... doing too many comps at the moment. Just as one finishes I sign up for 5 more!

I'm not taking any of them serious anymore to be honest , i decided to go against the obvious picks to try and get some points which back fired

I've fallen into that trap a few times as well. What is it with all those South Africans? There are so many of them into Aussie Rules and League. I think they wished they played those games in SA.

I'm going to let my lad do my picks from now on

Quiet on here without him . Told him to have a break and re-charge the batteries abit , get his appetite back for the board

It is, but we've both been at that 'had a gutful' stage. The positives do outweigh the unquestionable negatives but that's hard to see at times.

Yes i needed a break a few months back after getting into one with a member who didn't like me asking him/her to tone the language down .

He's sounds busy with work also so needs the time spent on that rather then here

Yeah this can be a thief of time like nothing else I know!! Though it's funny that when I need a distraction this is where I go.

I have gotten a bit bored with Superbru , in fact i haven't done any picks for 5 weeks now ........ my 9 year old has been doing them in fact he's made me change the profile picture and name over to him

I'm still doing Superbru, if I'm doing reasonably well then my competitive streak takes over, if I'm doing pants then it doesn't! I shall have to check out your 9 year olds progress, he may well tan your hide!

He hasn't quite grasped it fully yet he did 3 weeks picks in one go for every sport

Told him to think a little more and not just stick pins in the paper as it were

I managed to hold on to top place in our pool for Super Rugby  

6th in the UK, 5th in England, and 149th globally in the end. Not bad  <smugmodeemoticon>

And thank you  it was getting close towards the end! Wasn't that ar$ed until I realised I might just win the thing and then I really was ar$ed! Some instinct predictions paid off for me, I had a few of those 'that's considered an upset, are you sure?' messages! I was sure, and it worked out well

I was going to try and reduce my Superbru addiction... but I've just joined Pete's Aviva Premiership, Rabo and Top 14 pools... so that went well didn't it?!

Can't believe it's almost September!   Went home last weekend and the heather on the tops is proper purple! Autumn's just round the corner

I can't believe my little girl ( not so little now  ) starts school next week !

Swanny, it's getting warm here already (in fact warmest winter ever!) The battle to clear the yard of trees is being lost (where the pool will go) and the wattles have begun to flower. (golden-yellow pollen everywhere... makes me sneeze) The jacarandas will be next.

Busy with the two projects  - one application goes in this Friday; the other at the end of next week... hopefully the day before Election Day (Sept. 7) I'm buried in paper at the moment!

I know Kenny, my niece also starts school next week. Scary! She's even got a uniform  That's just wrong!

I still get tripped up by the reverse seasons for us LB! You would think I'd have become used to it by now wouldn't you  I do love Britain in the autumn though, the colours and light are just beautiful
