That said, Scotland has had their most enterprising part of play. Raises the question why they didn't play like that throughout the match. This leave it till its too late business is a waste. Scotland just wanted to kick everything today and looked scared to chance their arm.

Scotland have just wasted 8 minutes trying to get a try that still wouldn't be good enough.

Why not go for a drop goal on 71 mins and atleast get within seven points.

Really? He was clearly the biggest influence in the second half. He was everywhere in that second half and got a lot of turnover - including the last one
