By the way pal you are only here because of BBC's 606!

I understand that morally there is no difference from watching the odd clip from BBC or not paying for sky and streaming a sports channel.(which i have done in the past!)

However I appreciate the BBC and understand why they need money..

The Open championship, wimbledon without adverts its worth the money per year on its own. Then add the bbc website(my fav news and sport website), add shows like sherlock and I think its great value..

You only need a license to watch live tv on other media than a television.

"The law states that you need to be covered by a TV Licence if you watch or record television programmes, on any device, as they're being shown on TV. This includes TVs, computers, mobile phones, games consoles, digital boxes and Blu-ray/DVD/VHS recorders."

actually your right! apoligies!

you can watch catch up services -

"You don't need a licence if you don't use any of these devices to watch or record television programmes as they're being shown on TV - for example, if you use your TV only to watch DVDs or play video games, or you only watch ‘catch up’ services like BBC iPlayer or 4oD."

soz..

Iphone adverts trying to make out the latest gimmick would be lifechanging and something i'd be daft to be without. Frankly you'd need the personality of a lamp post to be conned by all that nonsense. You can add ipad/tablet/smartphone to that..Samsung ads are particular riling with that irritating elevator music backing. Ads with kids doing painting on a computer screen is so mind numbingly irritating too. Grrrr steam

There are plenty of other sources where you can watch it. But I take your point that it is something worth watching on ITV. Not enough to spare ITV from room 101 however.

Who saw a sitcom called The Crouches?

It was friggin' terrible. They gave it a second season purely because the family at the forefront were black. It smacked of the BBC witlessly filling quotas instead of concentrating on producing watchable television.

My other one, and maybe strictly not applicable here, but anyway, is:

ITV showing adverts in the pre-match build up. And then more adverts right before kick off. They only have 15 minutes before the match and about 7 of them are adverts. It's bad enough the remaining 8 are Roy Keane.

Its worse when you buy a series of DVD and they have the opening and closing credits after each episode, thats annoying!

Not sure some of the celebs have the interests of the charities at heart. I remember seeing Pete and Jordan sing a song from their shi.ty album and then proceed to tell everybody to buy it.

Plus it is crap TV.
