I disagree. Alves was always fat, while Bony is exactly that. There are two types of goalscorer in Holland - tanks who bulldoze their way to goals, or pacy poachers. Bony is a pacy poacher, and he'll do well when he leaves them.

this, although not all make it big. Kezman was a pacy poacher.

Hey Kezman did alright, scored a few goals, maybe a journeyman but did contribute wherever he went.

I think I read somewhere about his record. It made him look like a player who bangs them in in smaller leagues only. It was something like 1 goal every 5 games in France, England and Spain, 1 in 1.5 games everywhere else.

His performances for Chelsea and Atletico were actually better than that record suggests

It's more him coming on as a sub against Forest and scoring 4 in 12 minutes that makes me remember him as a supersub. I ignore the 4 he got against Everton as he started that game so they don't count and we actually drew 1-1

Bit embarassing by United postmatch if I'm honest. Not quite 09 Chelsea or whenever it was but nonetheless, pretty embarassing to watch.

As for the ref, yes he was crap, he also let Rafael handball a shot on the line at 1-0. That slipped under the radar somewhat.

I wonder if Nani will get any criticism for going in with his studs showing, giving the ref the decision of whether to send him off.

Big mistake playing Nani over Rooney in my opinion and that is what has cost them, not the ref.

Got 11/2 on the 2-1 to Real though, so not all bad news

I can't wait for zeb's reaction tomorrow.

A great game ruined by the referee but I believe we played better than man united over the 2 legs. Modric was a definite game changer.. Varane was awesome once again.

I've not seen the incident but all of the United fans seemed to think it wasn't a red card, went to the Real side and apparently Arbeloa (?) is lucky to be alive.

Definite not a sending off trebs. Yellow at worst. Referee made a huge mistake which changed the tide of the game.

Even with 10 men united still bossed the game apart from the 10 directly after the red
