A Message from Jed Thian of Alternative Rugby Commentary fame...
People of The Ball, my work in the UK for the 6 Nations is complete.
I recall the doom and gloom in Cardiff when I arrived for the first ever ARC on Welsh soil in February, it took some effort but now balance has been restored, positivity replaces the negativity. Scotland will not hand over victory this weekend, but these last steps are for the Welsh alone and so I must answer the call in another part of the Rugby Universe.
But consider this, less than a month ago after eight losses in row the mood was lower than a snakes belly, now England stand to win the 6 Nations Championship, The Triple Crown and in doing so the Grand Slam when they play Wales in Cardiff on March 16th.
Wales may not lift the 6 Nations title for 2013 even if it wins in Cardiff, but it will prevent the Triple Crown and Grand Slam and as Meatloaf said...two out of three ain't bad.
So go forward now everyone and enjoy the next two weekends of international relations, thanks goes to the usual suspects at BBC Wales, the 8th best dressed man in Wales and of course Dr Ricochet.
Oh...by the way, there will be an ARC broadcast for Wales v England on March 16 on WWW.ARCRUGBY.CO.NZ
Safe.

He's spent plenty of time working for the BBC Wales so I guess his enjoyment of the glorious land an wonderful people of Wales is inspiring to him.

I always assumed that Jed Thian was just some bloke that only BBC Wales found amusing, like Justin Marshall, Jason Mohammed and Rick O'Shea.
Thought they'd stumbled across him in a bar after an AI game or something.
I didn't realise he actually did rugby stuff elsewhere.

Oh the guy's been doing hilarious things for some time now. Great videos with animator Fraser Davidson - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7EFA9A101DF101C6
Would be a treat to see him do it live from a pub.
